I had called several times while waiting for our appointment. They said they start giving out appointments the last two days of the month through the first week. We got our case approved on the 26th of January and then it was scheduled on the 29th of March. From what I have studied on the case complete spreadsheet for Mexico it is normally a two month wait. If you don't get yours this month you should next month. The wait is the worst part. I stressed out so much until we got the appointment. Best of luck!!

    We have received my Husbands appointment letter for Mexico(YES!!!). I was wondering if the way my name is listed on the letter is important. We have used two different lawyers (the first was a very bad experience) but he entered my name as First, Middle(Given at Birth), Last. The second lawyer filed everything under my current legal name First, Maiden, Last. When we received the letter it is First, Middle, Last but the Middle name is misspelt. They have it with an A at the end instead of an E. My husband is very nervous about everything and wants it all to be perfect so nothing goes wrong. Will they give us issues with the misspelt name? Can I call and have it corrected? Or am I over thinking and it is not a big issue?

     We got a police report in November for my husband and it was submitted with all paper work in January to the NVC. Will we need to get a new copy to take with us to the interview appointment or will they have this one file? We do not have the interview yet, case is completed just waiting for an appointment date.
