  1. That's all you need. Get in touch with London about DCF.
  2. Just bear in mind only immediate family members (spouse, child(ren) of military (or government) employees are covered as being on government orders when it comes to green card and residence overseas counting as residence in the US. It doesn't apply to mother-in-law. I doubt you'd be able to get your mother as a military dependent on orders. Potentially as member of household and that's definitely not on orders.
  3. You give it two weeks and if nothing from the embassy, you contact them.
  4. There won't be any naturalization until your Removal of conditions is approved. You can most certainly apply for naturalization. There could be an instance where they interview you for first removal of conditions and at the same appointment for naturalization as well. You hopefully applied for your child's removal of conditions alongside yours.
  5. Bring your son back if you want him to get citizenship when you naturalize. Otherwise he'll have to do it on his own when he turns 18.
  6. USCIS.gov then search naturalization. They used to give out test materials when you did biometrics, not sure if that's still the case but the questions are most definitely on the USCIS website. https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/find-study-materials-and-resources/study-for-the-test
  7. Can't as immigrant visa number not currently available.
  8. As the OP said, the USCIS folks took the expired green card and extension letter when they issued the I-551 stamp.
