  1. So what exactly are you missing from your file? What document is needed? Or is this just AP (admin processing)?
  2. Get them what they want if you want the K-1 visa. Original documents are always required for interview and she should've had that with her at the interview - they return the originals back after they make a copy. That's for your divorce decrees.
  3. Naturalize first and then figure out European job/visa. I’ve heard of two cases now that have interview scheduled within 3 months of applying (Chicago field office district). So maybe USCIS is picking up on naturalizations before election year?
  4. Only if you want your relatives who may be into your genealogy/heritage years later in the loop. You can also request a copy of your A-file from USCIS and they'll send you everything they have on you since you started a petition with USCIS.
  5. So only you, the USC is getting deployed? If yes, then just get started now on I-751 (make sure it's the latest edition of the form), and have wife compile the rest of the evidence by the time the deadline to send in the form in comes. You can pre-sign the completed form. She'll include your contract in the evidence alongside the other required evidence - drivers license, bank statements, utility bills, childcare/doctor notes listing both of you as parents of the child...
  6. Your son can't petition him until he turns 21. Even then, he can only petition his father (about two year wait), potentially half-siblings (20+ year wait).
  7. It's a form giving permission to the congressional rep's staff to contact a federal agency (USCIS in your case) on your behalf.
  8. If you've got that in the pdf of your filed petition, I'd reach out to your congressional representative to make USCIS forward the approved petition to NVC WITHOUT having to complete I-824. Make sure to include the approval notice - I-797 C, and the waiver completed off your congressional rep's website.
  9. I don't see how immediate application for another tourist visa will get them a different result. No idea what NEET aspirant is.
  10. Most DCF cases the USC has to show proof they're living in the country and need to get back to the US for work reasons - new job offer...
  11. Yes, father needs to be in the US. That's the rule for any USC petitions - spousal, child. Otherwise there's no need to issue immigrant visa which is for family unification - if father is outside of the US there's no need for a visa as they're together already.
  12. Based on your prior post, your husband is from Pakistan (not Abu Dhabi) - could be something surfaced they felt you two weren't really married? Is this an arranged marriage? What's the educational background of yourself and your husband? Difference in age? Prior marriages for either one of you?
  13. I thought long wait times for marriage certificate were normal for Canada. Back in 2009 or 2010 an acquaintance was marrying a lady from Canada and even then was an issue with getting marriage certificate in under 2-3 months. I know I told him to consider coming for a visit and getting married here or a destination wedding location to speed things up.

  15. I went from one state (NW Indiana) to another state (IL) but remained in the same USCIS district - Chicago field office. No issues. They did attempt to send me to another ASC for fingerprinting - from Chicago area ASC to east Indiana but I successfully walked in to my old ASC in Chicago area.
  16. I just flagged as spammers bottom half of these accounts - the rest were already flagged.
