  1. after doing a combo interview this past monday with the n400, we got a notice in the app our 751 is approved today!
  2. Now it says your case has moved and new office has jurs. i assume that means it moved to the citizenship office or something.
  3. Though my husband just looked at his case online and the 751 is gone from his list and only has the 400. not sure what that means.
  4. My husband had his citizenship interview in chicago today and passed! because we did a 400/751 combo requested interview i went in with him. he was very nice! WOOO! We are traveling back to England in July and he said that we should have no issues traveling with the 48 m ext letter and expired green card. We hope they schedule this oath when we are back.
  5. My husband had his citizenship interview in chicago today and passed! because we did a 500/751 combo requested interview i went in with him. he was very nice! WOOO! i posted this in the wrong page but if anyone who is doing citizenship next you can offer that.
  6. Thanks! I already did, so it is what it is. So all my friends who didnt mention it, but got citizenship approved, will have to deal with it later?
  7. what im trying to say is i have two friends who just went through on the interview (this month), applied on 3 year rule, and didnt mention combo interview - therefore, didnt bring any evidence other than what is on the 400 list. I would predict most people apply for citizenship asap in the 3 year rule, and i was advised to do the combo knowing the estimated approval is spring 2025. my husbands interview is scheduled so we didnt get any RFE's and we never have. you mean RFE's on the 751- and they would tell us in person? my friend went this month in chicago without her husband and she was completely fine. i guess it depends on city/person interviewing. Sounds like just asking for citizenship and not the combo interview would have been better.
  8. i know people who were waiting on 751, applied for 400, didnt mention combo interview - and was fine/approved. so now we added all this work to our plate because we asked for a combo in our cover letter?
  9. My husbands interview for citizenship is 6/17. We would like to try and go to england in june shortly after. Is there any reason after the interview that he cant travel on his 751 letter? he just cant travel outside the US if he has the oath ceremony and needs to apply for a passport. Also, is there a place on visa journey to hear about their interview experience at certain offices? like chicago? i figured not but wanted to ask.
  10. What is everything other than the list we got for the 400? We wouldn't know what to bring for the 751 interview.
  11. His GC expired march 2021. why? the questions im asking are more curious than anything. we are getting the letter in the mail today with the list of what we need to bring 6/17.
  12. My husband applied in March and have his interview scheduled for 6/17 in Chicago. No update to the 751. I saw some posts of their 400 getting scheduled then unscheduled - we did say in our CL a combo interview. What is the chance of them unscheduling my husbands interview? We only need to bring what is on the list in the letter right, no more proof anymore? The only thing we saw is "selective service registration", what is that?
  13. My husband applied for his citizenship and it says March 24, 2024 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS process begins!
  14. Thank you. We are filling it out and went to Japan, Vietnam and Thailand, Asia in December. Should we break out each country by dates or can we say we went from X to Y, these countries included? @OldUser
  15. My husband is working on filling out the online form. They said they want the last 5 years of trips, but my husband only moved here in 2020. Should we include trips he took leaving the UK to the US or other countries? But it says on the form, "List all trips in the 5 years anytime you left the USA" but again, didnt move here until 2020.
  16. I read when you submit for the N400, in the cover letter its not a bad idea to request combo interview so they know. should we not do that?
  17. @OldUser You always provide great feedback. Do you know the answers to my questions above or any feedback? Thanks!
  18. Thanks, can you let me know where my actual post was moved to?
  19. Can someone make a march 2024 fliers page then? and can you link where you moved it to? i'm typing that board name in and nothing

  23. it says on the chicago citizenship to go here: Submit Form N-400, Application for Naturalization – Illinois residents must submit their complete application and supporting documentation to USCIS, P.O. Box 21251, Phoenix, AZ 85036. is that if you do it via paper? or it says the field office (where we had our last interview) is 101 W Ida B. Wells Dr so how do i confirm which address to put on the cover letter?
