I am from Poland but have lived in the U.S. most of my life. He is from Mexico. We met while studying abroad in Spain, and spent an amazing 6 months living in the same student dorm. Once he returned to Mexico and I returned to the U.S. we had to do long distance for another year and a half as we finished college. We have talked every single day and saw each other every month or two during the time that we were apart. Now we are anxiously waiting for his visa so that we can be married!!
