Just a note to others:
For Some embassies, you cannot do your medical exam in advance until the interview is booked and you can provide to them the confirmation that the interview is booked. And some embassies expect your medical to be at least a week before the interview. And since for all, you cannot book interview until case is at the embassy, this means usually booking interviews weeks in advance. So be prepared.
Once you get your NOA2, double check your embassy requirements before you do anything!!

I heard someone came to an interview in the other threads and they wouldn't grant it because they didn't follow procedure!

Yes next step a number, you will use that number to track your case as it reaches the embassy. which is taking awhile too. I got my case number on Monday and it is still at the nvc. 

Still waiting on our NVC # NOA1 8/21/17 & NOa2 2/27/17. This has really helped me with my patience level!

We just received our RFE in the mail March 5.  RFE because the he forgot to put just one date under the signature on one page  but we are so happy  and to @Naes who brought me to this thread, thank you!  and to the others who kept posting positive things , thank you ! helped me stay patient and sane

Got my NVC case number and invoice number 15 minutes ago! woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! yeah!!!!!!!!

We are approved!!!! No mail yet! Update came online first. <3 WOOHOO!

We got our approval letter today.
NOA1: Aug 14 2017
NOA2: Feb 27 2018

Just got our approval letter in the mail!!! August 21st couple here  No update on app/email only by mail. Congrats to everyone!

It is so exciting to see everyone getting approved. It is such a relief...but more waiting...now for the NVC.

For those who got RFE...hang tight your approval is coming. Stay positive. Better than a rejection. 
The letter I got in the mail says to wait 30 days and then you can email them. Did you get your approval letter in the mail yet. Its been a week today since we were approved and no NVC for me yet, but waiting on the mail for today still.

That would be awesome to start separate threads based on the state you are in, so we can meet up if we live close by to some other people from this forum!

Got our NAO2 today!!!! Case Approved!!!!!!!!!!! The tears of joy do not stop flowing!. 

When I landed LAX airport 2 weeks ago. I was following other people to Visitor line but then when I tried to put data on the screen of custom and border protection machine, I couldn't find the option of K1 Visa. So, I asked one of the officer near me, and I showed them i came with K1 Visa on my passport. The officer then directing me to immigration line. The line is on another part (still at the same building but far from visitor line). But everything went great. The officers were great and helpful. I was surprised when the immigration officer greet me by saying Welcome home. 
 
I then smile thinking about the flashback process of K1 Visa has taken so much stress, test our patience in long distance relationship . I finally arrived here, at home, a place where my love has been waiting for me for 11 months

You are not that far behind us. We should keep in touch with the process from her on out. Did he get his police record yet? it can take 1-3 weeks.
