  1. Really? She has the stamp in her passport and is an LPR. Pretty much a reach of imagination from someone who always claims only a judge can take their status away. I'm out.
  2. OP was threatened with that? Not seeing it in her statement
  3. My MIL just arrived from Philippines and I flew with her and went through immigration with her. She popped positive last year in the Sputum and went through the TB treatment. In secondary we had a slight delay while the officers waited for CDC officials to come in. They explained to me that she would be contacted by state health officials for some follow on about her TB and asked for two good contact numbers. No one called yet but she's only been here three weeks. So very possible.
  4. Mother in law on IR5 was 6 days in late February to deliver after interview
  5. IR5 Parents Visa Journey (form I130) was the active one I knew of. My wife was moderator until her parents arrived. Just note they are always active and we got calls at 1 and 2am with open appointments at times.
  6. Keep checking as they open up earlier often (like when people cancel for Sputum). There's a few Facebook groups that actively track that and send out messages to the group when new dates are posted.
  7. Not sure how you would get plates on a car in the US if the car has a Canada title? Not sure how canada works but lets say random US state (kentucky) isn't going to give you license plates if the car shows a title in another state, let alone another country.
  8. Arriving early only worked for us in manila as my wife was pregnant then. Even though we were 8am timeslots the guards put her in the first group. Usually I complain about sitting at the bank for four hours while they take every senior, PWD and pregnant woman before me. 😃
  9. Same denial letter everyone gets. My 16 year old niece got same last week.
  10. Completely up to you, however you don't need the sticker if you have the certificate. And if time is an issue you can complete the online registration and receive the certificate in 8-10 minutes so not sure what showing up at an office saves you, but good luck on your journey
  11. The only DS260 change was a current address for FIL which he provided at the interview. The other Documents (NBI, aka NBI, and our tax transcripts were almost two years old so we just provided new one they hand carried to their interview)
  12. For the in laws I didn't upload anything to CEAC after their DQ. They did bring new NBIs and copies of our tax transcripts as it was two years from DQ to final interview and they had no issue or request to upload. YMMV.
  13. Visa expiration is six months from medical date not visa issue date
  14. Over 60 and she just registers and gets the sticker. No class. The sticker will come in months but you will get a pdf with a QR code to print and that's all you need. Good luck.
  15. 11/4 paid fees (IR5 visa based) 11/11 Arrived US 3/23 Card being produced
  16. That was fun and the last of my fun with US Immigration. Four years and it will be Philippines immigration I get to deal with. In PI now to bring the last of my in-laws back to the US. Don't let the time scare anyone. We filed July 2019 so we had COVID, the Sputum, then TB treatment and another Sputum with the 2nd medical (seemed odd just out of treatment and cleared culture but more fun in the Philippines I guess) Timing worked well as we bought some condos in December and I had paperwork to sign. Good luck to all on their Journeys. Hope it rolls out smooth for you. Now I just get to read the forum and not worry or check case status.
  17. I needed the visa number to register the inlaws so not sure trying early will speed anything up for you.
  18. I did it but not quite the same situation as though wife never married but he was on the BC, however he passed away and we managed to get the death certificate. Overall not too bad, just under 6 months while COVID was going on, and employer covered all fees.
  19. Honestly it's less than $20 a month whatever plan she chooses (I'm back here again for two weeks picking up my mother in law to come to the US, my 8 day 10GB unlimited allnet text on globe was 90 peso ($1.80)). I think I pay just around $20 for the Converge home internet at this house too. ......anyway the point is there's a lot higher costs in your future than $20 if you stick with her. Honestly If you feel you can't trust her with $20 cash then run, or re-evaluate what's holding you up from trusting people. Sounds awfully controlling but that's just my opinion.
  20. We filed for my in-laws July 2019, approved Nov 2020. FIL received visa November 2022, Mother in Law just got hers two weeks ago. Nothing fast in immigration
  21. MIL just finished hers two weeks ago. Originals of Birth Certificate, My wife's Birth Certificate, NBI (also had an aka NBI because of a name issue), our tax transcripts for 2020, 2021 and we provided her our end of year W2's Edit: She also had our marriage license PSA copy to show the name change for my wife
  22. Guessing you / daughter already have CFO covered if you're working overseas?
  23. oops, should have read 2019, but still long We stayed at the Bayview back in 2015. Wasn't bad. We bought a presale condo at the Sands Residence going up just down Roxas a couple blocks from the embassy, but won't have it until late 2026. Good luck with her interview. I'm looking forward to a couple more weeks of warm weather there while getting her and getting the house cleared out and locked up
