    I was supposed to enter via Honolulu but my flight got cancelled so I was rebooked via San Francisco. Took me a total of about 5 minutes with the customs guy. He was super excited that it was my first entry on my green card. Explained that since we have been married less than 2 years I'd be CR1 and will have to remove conditions within 90 days of my expiration etc. Asked if I have more than 10k cash on me and confirmed the address for my green card to be sent. I had 4.5h layover in SFO and it was way too long. Customs, rechecking my bags and going back through security took at most 45 minutes and the terminal was close so I didn't have far to walk. Overall it was a great experience.

    I finally arrived last weekend. Curious to anyone else who has already arrived - how long did your SSN and green card take to arrive if they have already? The officer at customs told me GC can take a year 😳

    Interview done and approved. Waiting on passport return in the mail. So excited that this is finally over and we can start our lives together. Congrats all and best of luck.

    Do you mean DQ date? My full timeline: PD 13 Jan 2022 AR1 19 Jan 2022 Approved 6 Feb 2023 DQ 5 Apr 2023 Expedite request 11 Apr 2023 Expedite approved 13 Apr 2023 Consulate received 19 Apr 2023 Interview received 1 May 2023 Interview date 12 May 2023 (next week) Hope this helps. Without expedite I would not be getting an interview until October November. Our consulate just keeps going further and further backlogged.

    Sorry if it came across like that, but I'm not arguing, just stating that in some cases it may say interview scheduled but it actually hasn't and a few people in my country group had the same thing. It was in transit and said something that wasn't true for my case. So I was just staying that in transit does not necessarily mean you've been sent an interview date yet. It could possibly be just for cases that are expedited but since I've seen others with the same I can't say for sure.

    That's not true 100% of the time. My interview was expedited and although it said in transit/you've received an interview date, I had not received anything. Today my case arrived at the consulate and I'm now in a waiting list for an interview date. In transit doesn't necessarily mean you've received an interview date.

    Thanks! I am in a group of people at my embassy but because the interviews are so far behind there are not many in the group who actually waiting on an interview. I did get an email overnight saying my case has arrived at the consulate and I'm now on the waitlist for an interview. I also saw overnight they started allocating the next series of interviews so it shouldn't be too far away 🤞🏽

    Case says in transit and that interview date was provided by nvc but haven't received an email about the interview yet. Anyone know what's happening here? Is it generic?

    We requested interview expedite 2 days ago and it was approved overnight. Just waiting for interview date now. 🎉🎉🎉 So glad this process is almost over.

    If your case is DQ just leave it. I wouldn't mess with it.

    Mine also had 2 DQ messages after more documents were requested.

    Put an enquiry through the ask portal. Seemed to push mine through after they were past the processing date for me.

    What was your expedite request based on if you don't mind me asking?

    At least that would explain why ours was DQ so late after submission.

    Did you also receive an email to your enquiry at the same time? So you are also 5th?

    The enquiry did the trick. DQ overnight. 5th April.

    Yep that's what I did through the "ask" link inside the last email I received from nvc.

    Did you check the messages at the top right too? I had no notes on any of the submitted stuff, just a message in the inbox saying which documents were also required.

    I found a link to submit a request to see what the problem is. I'm worried that we somehow didn't resubmit it properly. But he clicked submit documents and when I log in it says submitted. So I don't know. The Aussie consulate is now 6 months behind for interviews so I'm starting to freak out as it's getting closer and closer to a holiday we have booked 2 years ago that was super expensive that I need to give a month's notice to get a full refund 😩

    Still nothing here.... NVC says as of 4 April they're working on files submitted 21st March which is a few days after we submitted. Is there anything I can do to enquire about this?

    FYI right now Australia is taking around 4-5 months from DQ date to interview. However they are not scheduling CR1/IR1 interviews every month as they have such a large backlog of DV and K1. So last month none received interviews. Currently they are up to people DQ in Nov if I remember correctly. Interviews issued around 27th of each month for the following month. Hope this info is helpful for any Aussies here!

    In case you want to add another to your list. Submitted 28 Feb. RFI on 16 March. Submitted requested document 18th March.

    So when I read the required files for AOS it said one form was needed. I dont remember what it was called. They then requested the W-2/1099 which my husband told me shows any extra income (investments etc) which he doesn't have. Weird they requested that since his main income is way higher than what is required. Is what it is though.
