  1. I think OP must be in 2400-2500 range, otherwise applying would not make sense. If he responds we will know then.
  2. Many, and I mean many chess players who are International Masters or Grandmasters have received GCs via EB1 and still do. I have specific knowledge on this. If the OP is one of them then OP had a decent chance. While we do not know what transpired I would assume that the OP fell under at least one of the above titles to file for EB1 in which case to me that would make total sense.
  3. This is far more than others have submitted including myself. This should be more than enough. Good luck to you.
  4. I checked a few thousands cases with the case tracker app and I-765s get approved first and fast.
  5. From what I see they crank EAD out like hot cakes. If you had biometrics it is a few weeks at most based on the current trend. At least for family based AOS. I cannot speak to other petition types.
  6. I think she got Covid booster, Influenza, Hep B and Tdap. Everything else she had. We did not even do titers on Hep B and Tdap and just decided to give her those. She got the Covid booster and Influenza vaccines at the walgreens before we even called any civil surgeons. Printed walgreens page from the online portal and brought it with us. That was it.
  7. Required vaccinations: https://www.uscis.gov/tools/designated-civil-surgeons/vaccination-requirements Find a civil surgeon who can administer shots too. Here is how you find them: https://www.uscis.gov/tools/find-a-civil-surgeon We went through this recently. Call a dozen or more places and go with the cheapest. My mother did titers test for vaccines that she knew she received but had no record of. Each titers test was something like $40. Total we paid $560 including the visit, whatever shots she did need, and also titers. Make sure to shop around. I remember some places wanted to charge me upwards to $1200 or more. What state are you in?
  8. - Filed I-130,I-485, I-765 and I-131 together. USCIS accepted date 1/22 - Biometrics letter in the online portal 2/1. Went in early and got it done on 2/6 - Biometrics rejected by FBI and second biometrics letter request in the online portal 2/7. Went in the same day got it done - Uploaded unsolicited evidence 2023 taxes to support I-864 under I-485 documents tab online. 2/13 - Uploaded unsolicited evidence 2023 taxes to support I-864 under I-130 documents tab online - EAD standalone approval letter in the online portal under documents for I-765. No status change yet 23 days to EAD approval
  9. EAD got approved yesterday. 23 days total.
  10. Email confirmations of purchased tickets, airline portals (rewards accounts), calendars (iphones for example suggest/add tickets from emails), whatever stamps you still have, memory, text messages from phones (I arrived, about to depart). There is a myriad of ways you can recover this. You would have to the digging but it is best to get it right.
  11. We sent it via UPS. I ALWAYS send all immigration documents with the fastest service and tracking. It worked like a charm every time. On average 3-4 business days is all it takes to cash the check. We just had the biometrics done. Good luck to you all!
  12. I forgot to add that folks at the application center were really surprised by how fast the USCIS requested new fingerprints. I though it was normal since biometrics is likely all automated unless something comes up that requires further review.
  13. Thank you all! We went earlier than scheduled date yesterday and were let in since we have a conflict with original dates. We live across the street. We went in again just now and got it done. Hopefully that does it. I appreciate your info!
  14. We filed AOS concurrently. Mother is adjusting from B2. We went for Biometrics yesterday and just got a notice in the online account that she is scheduled for another biometrics?? Has this happened to anyone else? Here is what it reads. "PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY. The FBI was unable to process your fingerprints. To continue processing your application, petition, or request, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) must collect your biometrics again. This will be completed at no additional expense to you. Please appear at the below Application Support Center (ASC) at the date and time specified." This is kind of weird.
  15. Concurrent filing. - USCIS accepted on 1/22 (delivery date) - CC charged on 1/24 - Notices received on 1/30 and 1/31 (NOAs and online account letters) - Biometrics letter received on 2/1 and the appointment is for 2/22 - Went to biometrics early as a walk in due to original date conflict and we got it done (the lady was nice and let us in early) I-765 shows 2 weeks in my progress (I know it is not accurate but still). I-485 already shows biometrics done Both I-765 and I-485 gave immediate updates and show case is being actively reviewed which usually means someone touched the case (in our case it is the biometrics update)
  16. This is incorrect. I cleared customs in Schengen many times to rest at the hotel and never claimed my bags. They went to the final destination as told.
  17. Not sure if my profile shows that anywhere but our country is Georgia.
  18. I sae that number from the link above. I am not an expert and not making this up. @appleblossom's comment clarified it now.
  19. Hi all! Long time VJ-yer here. I am a USC. I have never done much research on this topic myself and info that I found seems to be all over the place. Long story short I have a brother who is married with 2 kids (he is in his 30s). He lives in my home country outside of US. If I file I-130 for him now what is realistic time frame for his PD? Another seemingly important detail is that my mother who is in US currently filed I-485 (concurrent filing) and we are waiting for her application to be approved. Once she is an LPR is there a faster way for my brother? If so, by how much longer? If my mother naturalizes (5-6 years down the road) and then she petitions for my brother what does the wait look like? P.S. my brother's kids are 12 and 8. I assume by the time his PD rolls around via whichever way we choose to go kids will age out and this will add to the wait and complicate things more? Thanks ahead of time!
  20. Delivered on 1/22. Credit card charged on 1/24. NOAs received on 1/30. We did a concurrent filing for AOS along with I-130. Good luck to all.
  21. We sent my mother's medical with all the other forms. I know some people wait for the RFE and send it after. USCIS likes seeing a recent doctor's signature but I also think that I-693 validity is now extended to two years. I would personally send it and if they ask you to resend then do so when requested. If you receive no RFEs then you will not waste a month or two getting and replying to RFEs. Medical examination is most certainly mandatory so based on what I wrote above you will have to submit it now or later.
  22. That is kind of odd but happens. I had some declined transactions early on but nothing in recent years.
