My husband’s packet finally was delivered to DHL in Oaxaca! We’ll be flying to San Francisco in the next few days to finally be together at home.

Here’s a recap of our interview to packet timeline:
    11/30 - Approved
    12/5 - Administrative Processing
12/12 - We decided to change our delivery location from CAS in Cd Juárez to husband’s home state of Oaxaca to be with family (changed it by phone on the 703# line)
    12/15 - FINALLY ISSUED
12/19 - Still Issued but the last updated date changed to 12/19
12/27 - Still Issued but the last updated date changed to 12/27 around 3pm CT
-around 8pm CT received email for his DHL tracking number/waybill
12/28 - shipment picked up and left Juarez at 11:05am
12/29 - delivered at DHL in Oaxaca at 4:16pm.

Hope this helps. Anyone still waiting, hang in there! Thanks to everyone on this forum for helping with all your updates and positivity together. We felt a strong sense of community during such a hard wait.

Update: my husband received an email at 8:02pm with his tracking number!!! Finally. We haven’t been around a computer to check the AIS/CEAC website if there was an update earlier and stopped calling around 5pm, so not sure if we got anything before that. The tracking number still says in Juarez, not sure when it will get to Oaxaca, but we’re so relieved.

Hi everyone, I’m assuming no one else got their tracking number yesterday. My husband didn’t get one either. Hopefully Tuesday so we can be back for the new year at least! We wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, despite the situation and being apart from loved ones. Also my mom said she’s praying not just for my family but all our families! Looking forward to putting this all behind us soon.

Whoever I spoke to on the 703# line made it seem pretty hopeful that a tracking number should be ready today (was originally Issued on 12/15, but they say 12/19 now). They said that after a few business days should be good so to keep calling back, and said that they’re actually open to call until 8pm even.

I just checked and my husband's status also changed to issued!!
He is not in CDJ so we will have to call to see if they have the tracking number.
His interview was on Nov. 27th.

I just checked my husbands status (5:45pm EST) and our status is now Issued! My husband's interview was the 28th. Now we wait for the packet.
  11. Thanks

Yes, it seems so. We checked the status around 4pm MST for the first time, and saw it changed back to Ready. Not sure when it changed to that exactly, since we didn’t have WiFi the first half of the day. Then we checked again around 10pm and saw it was in Issued. Not sure when it changed to this.
  12. Thanks

Unfortunately, my husband and I are in the same AP boat. He was approved on November 30th, congratulated by the consulate officer and given only the green slip with instructions on how to check for his tracking number. We got status update from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing" on December 5, 2017.

It was relief to see some movement, but after reading other threads on horror stories of AP status, I'm not sure what to expect.  We call multiple times a day for any changes, and the last gentlemen we spoke to actually sounded confused himself on why we're in AP if we only got a green slip, but said a generic blurb on just needing to wait and that we can keep calling.

We've been staying at different hotels in Juarez since we thought it would be faster to pick it up in at C.A.S. location. We're kicking ourselves that we didn't choose his home state to be with family during this waiting time. The consulate officer did tell him "1-2 weeks", and the 2 week mark is on Thursday. If we don't get it by then, we'll decide if it makes sense to wait here or be with family down south and come back when it's ready.

Please keep updating this thread! I will once we get any updates. Thanks for sharing and letting folks in this situation they're not alone. Hoping good news for all of you soon.
