    A friend of mine who recently naturalized told me that the Seattle office is no longer doing same day oath ceremony, is that true? If not, how long is it generally between approval and oath ceremony? I have the interview in a couple of weeks and wondering if it's safe to plan vacations for April-May.

    Funny timing. I hadn't checked the case status for maybe 9 months and there's "new card ordered" March 5th and "case was approved" March 6th! Not sure when to expect the card to arrive, but probably soon.
