An EAD technically meets all of those items. But it's the board's decision to accept it or not.
I'd say just use your passport. Much easier and less confusion.
Aw shucks. Here's to hoping!
I would but I recently surrendered my passport for renewal.

EAD is issued by USCIS, who is government. So technically, EAD is a gov't-issued ID.
Maybe bring your passport, just in case... and bring your marriage certificate to explain any difference in legal name.
Right!? I hope it's acceptable! I just sent them an email to confirm.
I also don't have my passport right now, it's being renewed at the embassy.

This might be a silly question but I'm trying to schedule my nursing board exam and I need to present two IDs on exam day that meets the below criteria. I only have my EAD card and my learner's permit for driving. Both of which come from the government and the state respectively and contain essential information.
QuoteAll forms of identification must be valid and meet the following requirements. If the ID does not meet these requirements, you will be turned away and required to reregister and pay another examination fee:
- government-issued
- non-expired
- name (in Roman characters)
- recent photograph
- signature
Examples of acceptable forms of identification for domestic test centers are:
- passport books and cards
- driver’s license
- provincial/territorial or state identification card
- permanent residence card
- military identification card

Happened to a lot of people today, shouldn’t be a big deal.
Ah I see. Thanks

Hey all! Is it normal for the I-131 to show "fingerprints were taken" AFTER it showed "case was approved"? The combo card is already in my possession.

A lot of y'all are already receiving your EADs. Can't wait for mine 😍

Hello.
This might seem like a rather strange question, but I dont really have anywhere else to ask about this.Does anyone here have any idea whether I could donate my eggs while the Adjustment of Status is being processed? I am thinking more specifically before I receive my EAD and AP card.
I know volunteering is okay as long as you´re not getting paid, but since egg donation gives you a compensation I am not so sure this would be allowed?
Thank you in advance for any replies (and I am sorry if this is the wrong subforum)I'm looking into this too! I tried to fill out an online questionnaire for the clinic in my city and some of the questions are like 'are you a permanent resident?' 'do you have a job?' 'do you have a state id?' and I had none of those yet lol. As soon as I become 'stable' I'll fill out an application.

Hello! If my case status has changed to 'Ready to be scheduled for interview', does that mean I won't be receiving an RFE?
-
Nice! How long did it take?

Hi all! Is the USCIS 'Submitted date' the same as the AOS 'filed date?' Just wondering so that I'd know whether to follow the September or October filers thread. LOL. We mailed our AOS package on September 25, 2019; USCIS website shows the submitted date as October 1st.

You need to do a proper change of address (COA) with USCIS and USPS, or risk the real possibility of having delays due to incorrect addresses, mail returned when marked as "undeliverable as addressed," "do not forward" statements printed on USCIS envelopes.
Did both of these albeit very late. I hope this wouldn't cause us any trouble.

Check if/when the payment method is redeemed (check cashed/credit card charged/whatever). A NOA1 is usually sent out within days of that, so give it a week or so. Then start calling.
Says "fingerprint fee received" on My Cases. That should do it, right?

Have you set up mail forwarding with USPS? That way, even if they send it to the old address, it will get forwarded to the new address.
I did this too.

So I only remembered to change my address on the USCIS website A WEEK AFTER mailing out our AOS package. How do I know now whether they sent the NOA1s to the new address or not? 😩

No.
A reminder that the US Citizen must submit I-865 (via US mail) to update the address listed on the submitted I-864: https://www.uscis.gov/i-865
So, should we have included Form i-865 in our AOS packet? Can we still mail one out? Or is the online change of address enough? Thanks for your help.

https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange
"If you fall into any of the categories below (YOU DON'T) please read the information in the corresponding section. However, most individuals can change their address in two ways:
Through your existing USCIS online account if you filed your form online (YOU DIDNT); or Filing Form AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address Card, online using the Change of Address webpage (as long as you didn’t file one of the forms in the sections below {YOU DIDN'T}). Filing Form AR-11 online will update your address on all pending applications, petitions, or requests that you include on the form. You do not need to mail Form AR-11 if you use the change of address webpage."
Marvelous. Thank you so much.

Part 7 Question 7 of form i-864 asks: "Enter the net cash value of all the principal immigrant's real estate holdings. (Net value means investment value minus mortgage debt.)"
Now, as the principal immigrant, I have been paying for this house in the Philippines through the Pag-Ibig Housing Loan service. Should I put that on there? If I do decide to put that on there, would I need to show proof? I have billing statements that I can present.
Also, my husband has enough income to support us both. Since this section is optional, should I even bother putting anything?

Finally found it! Thank you so much😊 One more thing, can I just submit either a copy of passport with the visa or a notarized sworn letter? Or should be both?
Must be both. Follow the instructions.

Still didn't see the application for provident benefits 😓
You're accessing the wrong link. Access this one: https://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/home_pdf/citizens charter/Citizens Charter - Provident Benefits Claim_May 2017.pdf
Or choose Provident Claims on the left under Citizen's Charter.
