  1. Why would you waste your time calling the court? Just follow online form and you will see there is a place to opt out with explanation. We did that and wrote "Not citizen yet" and done. It's a normal thing that they fish out for people. I think they get the data from DMV or MVA whatever you have in your state.
  2. Actually it's -90 from the date on the Green Card where it states Resident Since
  3. You know what, I think I confused it with the Global Entry application where we had to put last 7 years of history
  4. Are you sure that you will have to provide 3 years of travel, work history and addresses? My wife went for the 3 year rule and I think we still had to provide 5 or even 7 years of the history.
  5. Update on the visit. Spent 2 hours waiting for our number to be called. Then in took 5 minutes to do everything at the window. Just puzzled by the 'receipt' we've got. 'This is a receipt to show that you applied for a Social Security card on May 31st. You should have your card in about 2 weeks. etc.etc.' I assume that's the standard response they give. The clerk told us that the citizen status will be changed in their system within couple of days and that the new SS card will arrive in mail.
  6. Thank you for the answers and suggestions! Just checked and we have 2 SSA offices with walk-ins no appointment necessary. We will go this Friday. We'll take the originals and the SS card with the notes on it. As for the passport, we did applied for her passport 5 days after the naturalization. Paid for expedited service and got the passport 10 days later and naturalization certificate day later (That was middle of December). When we went to Thailand last month she used it first time Also we did Interview On Arrival for the Global Entry (we've applied for her in January). She got her GE card week later So that's the last step in the journey which started on January 13 2018 I've sent the K-1 papers on that day Thanks again!
  7. Hello, Since my wife is US citizen now the last step is to take her to SSA and update her status. I remember there was a talk somewhere here about doing some form to reflect her status at SS. Which form is that? Second thing, her SS card still says Not permitted to work without DHS authorization. How do we change her physical card? Is there another form for it? Thanks!
  8. What is the date on her GC stating Resident Since: ??? That's the important thing to validate which way to file it. Under 3 years or 5 years rule.
  9. It was at Washington Field office at Fairfax VA. No, she did not have to do any biometrics again.
  10. My wife had interview when the system was down too. About 4 or 5 weeks later she got a letter with the oath ceremony date. I don't think there was any change in her online account for 3 to 4 weeks after the interview.
  11. We didn't do CR only K visa so it wasn't the same thing, but I only had to submit my divorce decree from my previous marriage to the BKK embassy.
  12. Request combo when you go for your N400 interview. That's what I did with my wife. We didn't request it beforehand. The worst thing is they will say no.
  13. Well, I'm not aware of any other reason why they would care about DUI on a tourist visa. OP. Go to France, Hong Kong or Japan. They have Disneyland there too.
  14. Probably from Canada, as Canada is making very hard for US citizens with DUI or DWI convictions to visit Canada. That's my guess.
