RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING MY CARD IS BEING PROCESSED ON JAN 22!!!!!

Happy holidays and happy new year to everyone. Still waiting but remaining positive., WAC17310*****. Anyone else still waiting? I figured everyone is busy because of the holidays but any updates? 

I got an email saying “On October 15, 2018, your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC17310XXXXXXX was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case.” Does anyone know what this means?

Today I received the 18 month extension. I filed 8/7/17, CSC. Longest process ever 😔

After doing some research, it appears that I-751s are usually only transferred to a local office when they are going to schedule an interview.

It can be for many reasons as well, not just to schedule an interview, per the USCIS website.

September 8, 2017- Bio app

October 16, 2017- Bio app waiver 

November- Nothing 

December- Nothing 

January- Nothing

February 26, 2018- Case was received at local office

Hello everyone, 

My biometrics appointment was scheduled for Sep 8. Due to hurricane Irma the Tampa FL office was closed exactly on Sep 8. Just my luck. Per the USCIS website it states to wait 4 weeks for a new letter with a new appointment time. It has been 1 month and 4 days and I have still not received anything. I called USCIS customer care and they said I just have to wait.... I would do a walk in but the trip to Tampa would take me 2 hours and I know walk ins are not guaranteed. Does anyone know how long it’ll take for me to receive a new appointment letter? Thank you.
