  1. Got a letter today confirming my I-751 interview will be conducted along with my N-400 one, taking place on March 24th. 4 years since I filed and all it took was filing for naturalization to get the interview. So excited to be almost done with all of this.
  2. Got a letter today confirming I will be having a joint interview for my I-751 along with my N400 which I already got the notice for to attend on March 24th. Was nice to include a list of what to bring, fingers crossed everything gets approved and this 8 year journey is over.
  3. I filed for N400 on 1/19/25 My I-751 has been pending for almost 4 years at this point, so filed to speed up. Just got an update today that my interview has been scheduled for 3/24/25. Much quicker turn around time. Is there anything I need to do to request I duel interview? Or will they just do it there? Or do it then wait for my I-751 to be processed? I feel in any case I should prepare for a dual interview and be prepared. Does my spouse need to be with me? We live 90 minutes away from Louisville where the interview will be and we have tow young children. I am excited but also very nervous to what to expect.
  4. That's part of the reason I just went ahead and filed for naturalization at this point. I was going to any way within the next year or plus. Plus I just got tired of waiting for my extension and heard this sped it up.
  5. No clue. I got a notice about two years ago nearly saying it was moved to a new office to 'speed up processing' and heard nothing since. Estimating six months to process my N400 so let's see which completes first.
  6. Still no update on this as of 1/22/25. Filed for the N-400 on 1/19/25, so going to combining both at the interview hopefully.
  7. Just applied on 1/19. Filed under the 3 year rule, probably could have done it under the 5 year one (been married a little 6 years) but didn't think it mattered? I filed an I-751 back in 2021, which last update I got was back in 2023. Part of the reason I filed now was due to uncertainty with the new administration. How do I request a joint interview for both?
  8. Okay, that's reassuring. Didn't want to them to think I was being fraudulent, because that's not the date on the card itself. Thank you
  9. I'm traveling in a month to the UK with my spouse and child. We went two years ago with an extension letter and had no issues, just some extra processing at check in and when I came back to the US. I was entering our passenger details on the British Airways website, we flew a different airline before. Passport info is straight forward but then it asks for my green card info. I included my USCIS number as it's written on the card but for expiration it doesn't allow me to add a date in the past, for obvious reasons. With the extension letter it should be straight forward like before when I'm traveling. But for my passenger details in the lead up should I put the expiration as it would be with the extension letter, adding 48 months on? Leave everything blank and do it at check in? Call and find out best way to proceed? Just wondering if anything that went through know of the best way to handle this?
  10. Still no movement, since I got the update email saying it was transferred. It said it was to speed up the process, but I'm past the point it was supposed to be done based on the estimated date while it was still at Potomac. Anyone think it's worth reaching out at this point?
  11. Got my notice in the mail today, it stated to speed up processing they have sent my case to Lee's Summit for processing. Not been given a new receipt number so I'm hoping this hasn't restarted the clock and they will complete it soon.
  12. That's what I figured after a lengthy Google search. Not applied for citizenship yet. This was the first update I've had in over two years. Got excited until I read it.
  13. I just checked my case today and it said it has been transferred. No other information was given, other than the notice has been mailed to me. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone else?
  14. Recently, about a month ago, I got my 48 month extension letter. Just in time too as the 24 month one was about to elapse. I haven't filed my N-400 yet, wasn't going to until this was completed. Wondering if it is worth just doing it as this point? My case ended up at Potomac, which last I checked was taking an ungodly amount of time to process cases.
