  1. Case tracker isn't an official USCIS website. Why people still use this is beyond me. Go and create an online USCIS account. Those 3rd party sites don't get information unless USCIS updates it. Basically, they pull information, from the USCIS account, using your receipts numbers that you provided them. So, if USCIS updates, they pick it up later and update. If no update from USCIS, then no update from 3rd party sites. So, why not just use your USCIS account??
  2. The man who was paid to do the fake/ staged robbery is the one that got shot and died. He'd apparently done it a few times, one of which he "robbed" a gas station clerk who immediately applied for U-visa. He was a known "hire man." People would get in touch with Mr E, who would then call his boy X to go do the job. X got x-ed out finally.
  3. U visa and VAWA are all over on Rediit..."I fell down ON AMERICAN soil. Do I qualify for VAWA?" Someone here last week was of the sense that withdrawal of I-485 and having primae facie entitles him for VAWA 🤦🏽
  4. It's only when in US, that if you witness or are a victim of robbery, that all of a sudden, you want a U-visa. First of all, if you're a tourist, how'd you even know about it? Second, if you get robbed, isn't your first priority to move on or leave the country? Tourists get robbed in other parts of the world too. Do they then ask the host nation for a visa? The True Geezer (the dude who's curently on the news for running the whole length of Africa), or whatever his name is, was robbed in Angola in one of the legs of the races. Did he demand any certain visa from Angolan government? How'd you even know the person that robbed you was a USC or even legal?? Citizens of those countries also get robbed. Should they demand free rent from the government for a while year since they don't qualify for visas? One lady witnessed a crime and was asking if it qualifies her for U-visa. Another's illegal father was working at a job (illegally) and was punched by a coworker. She's asking for U-visa. My conlusion is that most non-immigrants come to US with sense of entitlement. They're also coached.
  5. If it makes its way back to you, use a money order next time. This could have all been avoided by money order.
  6. What's your heritage? Where is your cousin? Are you female or male? Which state do you live in? Calling @Boiler
  7. Contact USCIS for what? And Lawfully is a third party site. Give it time. Relax.
  8. Nigeria is known for fake documents. Make sure you get the right one, lest you get rejected again. No need to go back. Just get some credible attorney
  9. The highlighted is what we are asking. Tell us exactly what happened/ what you have. As someone else said, pulling out a petition isn't abuse. Is it written on the VAWA criteria/ qualifications? I'm 100% sure NO. From how it's going, it looks like you don't have a case. I stand corrected.
  10. So why are you here asking? The title of your post and your response above don't correlate. For anyone here to give you a conclusive answer, you have to tell us the story. Otherwise, you may wanna withdraw because you're overthinking/ you may have a legitimate reason to withdraw.
  11. Expedition request? Why? What reason? Merely canceling I-485 is not a basis to file VAWA. Did you actually meet the criteria for VAWA?
  12. You may be having another potential problem coming. Hope your card gets deducted, because if not, it's coming back to you. I always advocate money order
  13. So how old is this son if he filed an IR5 for you? Did you have this son out if wedlock with him (dad)? Or is he not the father since you said "my son" as opposed to "our son?" Whom did you divorce in 2014?
  14. Where are you right now? Where is your son's father right now? Why aren't you and your son's father married?
