  1. That's why, as I said, he doesn't need to sign I-864A. His zero income doesn't warrant I-864A
  2. Is the country high fraud? Which country are we talking about exactly? Any age difference?
  3. Why make it more complicated yet you have an easy way out?
  4. If he didn't work last year, you don't need I-864A.. You can add your W-2 to correlate that fact. Additionally, I-864 asks for joint return income AGI and individual income. Pay attention to make sure you don't mess one or the other.
  5. Any insight on this bill? Not sure if this topic has been raised here already
  6. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 So it's you and not asking for a friend?
  7. Did she provide details eg dob to the first love?
  8. There was an OP here a few months back who was grasping at straws. She and her family were applying for anything and everything to remain in US. Her parents got robbed/ attacked while in US, at work and on B-2 visa, iirc, and just like that "They qualify for U-visa." First of all, why are they working on B-2?
  9. No Reason why it's far out is because they're fully booked. Relax.
  10. @Fe.Ta and @Boiler Venezuelas are doing this LBGTQ game thing too. I know one who told me her friend claimed such and is in Chicago and she also wanted to go the same direction. I was like 😳. There's a lot of lesbians, gays etc in Latin America. You see them everyday and everywhere. So, it just boggles my mind when they obtain B-2 and as soon as they land in US, claim asylum from persecution.
  11. @Boiler True. Funny thing is, as soon as a mouse causes a little tension in their country, their citizens want to apply for US asylum. It's always US. There are other western and non-western countries of whom I've seen a lot of LBGTQ populace eg Colombia. But none will apply there. They all want to go to US. Even Colombians claim LGBTQ to come to try come to US yet I see them all over the street enjoying life. I'm waiting for Thai people to join the LGBTQ asylum bandwagon 😂
  12. Even if so, they're clogging space that can be used for legitimate cases.
  13. @Imperium she's not from any of those communities. Additionally, she's an adult. Noone will force her into it. Lastly, there are females from those communities who are educated and have not gone that route. Being that she's reached US, she's educated. She's grasping on straws, same as the other from Kenya who was here on VJ seeking to expedite his wife's case based on terrorism. I asked him for proof. He went under.
  14. If that's the case, then 5years. I just went off her initial post.
  15. I thought she said 2019? Doesn't that not make it 3 year rule? @yuna628 what's the residence since on his GC?
  16. A 30+ years old friend of a friend is currently claiming asylum based on FGM. First of all FGM is nearly non-existent in Kenya. I've not heard about it in a long time. Secondly, it used to be done to young girls/ pre-teens. That being said, I wonder how a 30+ years old is gonna convince a judge that her life is in danger because of FGM. She just got here on B-2 last year. She's been safe all this while in Kenya up until she set foot on American soil. SMH. Sometimes I wish I was a judge or USCIS officer. Such cases would be getting denied as soon as proceedings opened. I'll wait for you to introduce yourself and tell me the story. As soon as you're done, I close the case. 10 mins tops. What frivolous asylum cases have you heard? Or any case in general
  17. OP here is dodging questions. I'm in and out as fast as I came. @Boiler and @Crazy Cat there are some states that apparently, issue DL and DL insurance to illegals. I think that is why Latinos prefer Florida. I'm not sure if the rules have since changed due to the new law. I think NJ too. OP dad may be having ITIN and not SSN. Funny enough, he may also be actually having SSN because back then, some states used to issue unrestricted SSN to F-1 students. Those were the lucky days. I came across someone who came on B-2 back in early 2000's and has one. She's just AOSing right now based on marriage to USC. All this time, she's been working at big companies using that SSN. I also know some F-1 students who got that unrestricted SSN from back in the days in some states. Nonetheless, both these 2 loopholes have since been sealed.
  18. 1. No, if you can follow simple guidelines posted top right or read the forms. 2. Yes, if opposite of 1 above. Upto you.
