  1. Is this child related to you or your wife? Child of your aunt, uncle, cousin, wife's sister etc?
  2. If she's studying, she has a valid F-1 visa that she can use to get in and out to the country. You're being deceived. I agree with @SalishSea and @Redro Exactly why you are being used for a GC. She's preying on your naivety. I don't see *you* in that statement but *her wanting to live in US.* Did she tell the IO this at her interview? Your young, barely started living/ having responsibilities in life. Take it easy. P.S: you started dating when you were 18?? That's suspicious. All I can say is be careful. We don't want you coming back here in a year, asking about how to divorce/ being threatened with VAWA. I'm now out.
  3. First, you need to confirm if she has a 10 or 2 years GC
  4. Aren't you not eligible for N400 at this point? OR you don't want it? If I were you, I'd file it online ASAP
  5. Though a long shot, I'd try reviving her ROC. We've seen someone here successfully do it after 10 years. Did she file to abandon her GC?
  6. I don't think they're mailed. You have to go in person. Postpone since you're out of the country.
  7. Your original I-130 is still valid. You need to reach out to consulate to resuscitate it. No need of refiling a new I-130. Did your mom eventually clear medical?
  8. Do you have all adoption papers for the kid? Which country are we talking about? There's been a debate here about some countries and their adoption process. Is this kid related to any of you by any chance? Eg child of sister, cousin, brother, aunt, uncle?
  9. Nobody will note anything. One time, this lady told me she's going to put a note on airport system to warn other airlines that I arrived late. 😂
  10. Someone here, this month, mentioned submitting a correction item online and it got corrected. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/816451-typographic-error-on-i-130/#comment-10934880
  11. Leave your bag and the hotel. Most hotels have this service or talk to the manager. Or pay an extra night.
