    My guess is that the new administrator will slow everything immigration-related down to nearly a halt. Just like he did last time he was elected. To them is not just about illegal migration.

    Submitted my application on 11/15. Same! Biometric re-use notice and with an approximate wait time of 6 months.

    All CR1/IR1 visa applications go through CDJ consulate. It does not matter where you live. You can request a medical exam at one of three approved clinics in Mexico. You should do this only after you have received the interview date. The consulate will let the NVC know when they are ready for your interview and the NVC will give you a date and time via email.     Last time i heard they were doing K1 visas on CDMX, but CR1/IR1 visas were going through CDJ.

    "Ready" means the NVC has everything they need from you. They are now waiting for the consulate to give you an interview date. All you can do now is just wait.
