a few cases that show name updated as of yesterday (weird) and... guess what? An approval for April 4th received date. So yep, I think they are moving slowly, since working March cases at the same time, but still moving :D

I just saw this approval too! I'm shocked it actually shows on the tracker.

If your case was received on April 4th get checking!

So good to see approvals finally

    Has anyone been approved today?

So many people with received date April 3rd got their NOA2 already /my date/ and we still don't have a letter. :/

As far as i'm aware, no. Hold on in there, im sure yours is coming soon and may even be in the mail :star:

The case tracker is not updating for NOA2 (we think) and hard copies of NOA2 won't have been sent out over the weekend. The NOA2's we heard of yesterday were mailed last week and ones mailed yesterday won't be received for a few days. So we should expect a couple of quiet days mid-week to account for the weekend break. ^_^

Err, nope. Sorry if I didn't explain well. Cases are ordered by the number in the Excel we have for April cases. I was talking about the position in that list. This was the link to the list

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C9ooCSdiBh2W7HG-2aogdXG7P-FkXMa0asKzAkRnBP4/edit?usp=drivesdk

Well, of course USCIS doesn't work exactly by order, but maybe kind of... Who knows :P

@CE and JR here is the post with the document

Using the Iphone app how do you scans without placing the case number? I understand how you scan by dates or so???

Unfortunately you can't scan directly by dates. However, if you have your WAC number you can scan 500 cases around your number.

By adjusting the WAC number you can then scan cases around another date.
For example: WAC1790265007 is a case with recieved date of 3/27.

There is a document that was posted on here quite a while ago by @Estibaliz that showed WAC numbers and their respective received dates. You can use this document to find a case number for a given date and then scan cases around this date.
    Hope this helps :star:

    Hi all!

After months of checking VJ's forum I finally decided to create an account :)

I'm also an April filer - I-129F was received on April 7, and I received my NOA1 one week later... Now fingers crossed for my NOA2, which I hope arrives soon.

Next week it will be 9 years since my fiancée and I started dating, and I'm really hoping he can move here by his birthday in October! Wishful thinking lol

Welcome! If you could fill out your timeline so we can follow your journey that would be great! :star:

Here all vaccinations that you must  have for application for a green card.. if you do not get any necessary vaccinations before the interview, so then in the US it will be more expensive ... on the medical exams you will get filled  form , with  all your tests, X-ray, height, weight,  vaccinations  ... ask also to make a photocopy of this form, ...
Then after the marriage, when in the US you will file a petition to change the status, an American doctor will transfer  all records to his form, which contains and table 1

In short, you need to have vaccinations, then go through medical exams before the interview, and then in the US to present all this for filing a petition on the green card

Ok thank you, I dont think I will need to get any additional vaccinations before the medical ^_^. I work in a 'high risk' job and get them all free through the NHS here in the UK.

  8. I've finally got around to looking at what documents i'll need to gather. I've left the affadavit of support down to my fiance for now to begin working on. Besides getting copies of my birth certificate, passport photos, vaccination history and police certificate is there anything else I need to gather? The first step on the London Embassy page says form DS-160. Can I do this now? I just tried and it appears to let me begin filling it out.

Who else is excited for the start of a new week? Hopefully it should mean lots more NOA2s for us April filers!

Matt and I are in the process of buying a new house at the moment just to add the growing list of planning a wedding, homeschooling my son, gathering our visa documents and selling all of my stuff! I guess it's true that a woman's work is never done!

Definitely excited for the new week!
Nice to see someone else moving to NC ( I assume). And from the UK too ^_^

You can end up in Administrative Processing for months after the interview. Everyone goes through AP after the interview but often it's just for a few hours or a few days.

That's not how it works. There is a background check at USCIS before approving the I-129F. There's additional checks after the interview (as part of the AP that everybody goes through) before the visa is actually approved.

So when you are at the interview and the officer says 'congratulations, your visa is approved' the visa is not actually approved?

I don't know, it seems to me that could be old information, hence me asking. I just hate false expectations, but I'm hoping for the best, just confirming :)

In any case, we know they are working on April because we saw RFE'S, so no difference.

Rest well and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Actually I just had renewed hope reading a post on the March filers page. She said the NOA2 had received and NOA2 date. And she stated that the received date on NOA2 is her actual received date. So i think we are good. And the celebrations continue :jest:

  12. 3 minutes ago, Estibaliz said:

So when you check USCIS website it still says "On April 3rd we received..."?

Lol, I'm being paranoid with the received date because I remember reading that the Receipt date showed in NOA2 is the Notice date in NOA1, and as you probably have noticed already that makes a big difference here. Sorry for being too persistent and annoying :)

Oh, my heart just sank reading this. Sometimes I think knowing too much is making me stress more. Time for sleep I think. Lets hope and pray that next week is a good week.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone ^_^
