Hi everyone my pd is feb 7 2017 and i submitted a service request on july 13. I received an email today saying this does it mean i will get an approval soon ?

The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

    What You Can Do
Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the future.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

I got an email today too because I contacted USCIS about a couple of weeks ago. My email was a little different: "Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. We will make every effort to issue a decision or notice of further action on your case as soon as possible."

I know you are going to think I'm crazy, but I sent a message to every couple that's has been approved in Texas the  last 2 months and I asked them if they were residents or us citizens and most of them we're us citizens. So they are really processing January  for us citizens, at least most of the I 130 files... so i hope everyday we're going closer to our dates 🙏🏼🤞

US citizen, filed i-130 for spouse, PD December 23, 2016 and no progress yet.

I called USCIS this morning at 8:30am EST and Yes, that's exactly what the lady did for my case as well....she opened up a service request for our case since it was outside of normal processing times, and said it could take 15-30 days for them to look into it and get back to me via u.s. mail or email.

    Married -12/9/17

    Mailed Petition - 1/3/17

    NOA-1- 01/09/17

    Still waiting.....6 months and still.....nothing!

I too contacted USCIS after reading this post and the customer representative opened a service request for my case. I was told to contact them again if I don't hear back within 15-30 days. The waiting begins.

We're getting there!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!

I really hope that they've actually started processing December cases. I have a PD of December 23 but haven't seen any progress yet. I've stopped looking at the USCIS page for TSC because it's disheartening to see it stuck at September 22.

  5. Is TSC backlogged or something? I tried scouring the internet for any news but came up empty handed. My i-130 application for a foreign spouse was received by TSC on 12/23/2016. There has been no progress, not that I know of at least, since then. The processing times for TSC i-130 application seems to be stuck on September.

Has anyone here who has a late December date received updates on their case?
