My case is still showing: "Action required: Submit requested documents" even if I already submitted everything a week ago.
do you get the same and what is next ?
Thanks.
this will change as soon as NVC had a look at it. You will get an email and if you go to status check it will say "at NVC" - this indicates a CC or that you need to resend some files.

Call to make sure, but where does it say documentarily qualified?
In an extra email and in one of the messages in the ceac portal. and everything is on green. I uploaded the 2 documents anaway. Yes, I will call today I guess.

Same submit date for us, please keep us posted when you hear back. I have a sinking feeling that we reset our wait counter.
So, I got news. I have approved to all documents and it says: Documentarily qualified, but also for 2 documents (although they are approved) it said, resubmit with the right side up. So, I did this. NO clue, if that means I have to wait again or if they are now scheduling my interview....Very confusing

I attempted to resubmit the i864 form realizing it was incorrectly filled out the first time, and when I called about it, they indicated upload date was June 4 for my file which is the day I submitted the new form. So, thinking I might have reset counter. Hope not, but who knows how they process things given there's 0 visibility into any of this.
Yeah, that really sounds like you reset the clock sorry to hear! I just don't understand why this whole thing is so slow and in transparent..

Why do you think that?

Hi VJ folk!
We sent off our financial and civil documents to NVC on May 21 after paying all our fees and such and completing the DS-260 etc. By the way, we're not a Pivot case.
I (the petitioner) just called up the NVC today June 1st (I also emailed last night) to see if they had received our case and what the status was. (As when we look online, it says 'at NVC' which is most likely a case clear but could be a checklist). Spoke with a kind man named Felix and he told me that our scan date/received date was May 22nd and our case was marked complete on May 29th! So that was only 5 business days!!!
Now we're just awaiting the interview to be scheduled which would come via email.
Best advice I can give to those preparing documents is be thorough in your documentation and be extremely organized! As someone who works in bureaucracy, make it easy for the person reviewing your case by having everything organized. (I labeled everything per its proper set of documents, paper clipped items together that should be together, wrote case numbers on every page, priority mailed the documents with a tracking number for peace of mind and quick delivery).
Good luck to everyone waiting and preparing!
CONGRats,
we uploaded everything on May 17th, no news yet. How did yiu find out about your cc? Ours is pivot

Hi, I think you meant to ask Joelbincythomas that?
If not, for me it still says that. I realize now that Joelbincythomas probably is non-pivot but it should still mean CC!
Yes, you are right! mi mistake. So, then we just have to wait :/ I was hoping we would get a CC within a week... I sent my things May, 17th.

Yes it means CC. Congrats! I submitted my docs 1 day after you so I hope that means a CC for me too soon! It all depends on how busy your embassy is for when you'll get an interview.
Hi, did you check it here? https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx and before that it always said, submit requested documents?

You can check status of your case from this link. If it says "At NVC", that mostly means CC but you have to call and confirm.
Thx, interestingly it says submit requested documents. That is strange

Hi guys! How do I know that I have a CC? I uploaded everything 10 days ago (pivot) and I have no idea how to find out if I got a CC

Congratulations! That was fast! We submitted our documents around the same time. I hope our CC is coming real soon!
Nice! How did you find out sbout the cc?
-
yeah, it is so frustrating
-
how long did you wait from paying the fees until it showed that the fees are paid and you could move on with the ds260?
-
Finally, I got my case # and invoice #. I have a question: I paid the IV fee, but for the Affidavit of SUpport Fee it already said" Paid". How can this be?

following you, March 7 is my NVC date.

something very stranged happend today. Called NVC to ask about the status of my case (NVC received case in March). Then, they asked my name etc and when I told them my petitioners name they said it is wrong....How is this suddenly possible? Then I called again and another person did not ask anything, just told me that it takes up to 8 weeks (usual answer). Do I have to worry?
