  1. This is EXACTLY the info I needed. Thank you so much!
  2. Hey, Everyone. I did a post around 3 years ago about the difficulties adjusting to the US. At the time I had my GC and was struggling to get by and found it incredibly hard to adjust to my/our new life here. I did take everyone’s advice. And I am so thankful I did. Thank you to everyone who commented on that post with their advice. Another 3 years have passed by and being in a more financially stable position and I have had my citizenship for over a year, we‘re still wanting to return to the U.K. This is nothing negative towards the the US. I love this country because it is the country I met the love of my life. We do plan on returning to the U.K. I have googled and researched as much information as possible and there is one thing I am struggling to understand and I would love some advice/answers from my fellow VJ people. As I am not currently a resident of the UK, I do hold British citizenship. Me and my wife have had jobs earning over the £18,600 threshold for 3 years. The accommodation side of things are no problem. Now this is what I do not understand. As a British citizen returning to the U.K, do I have to have a job lined up within 2 months of returning? Or, if I have cash savings over £62,500 would that be an option instead? Im a little confused on the financial side of things. Can I have savings or do I need to have a job lined up regardless of my amount of savings? (Over £200,000) Any information would be appreciated and I thank you for the time to read my post. Thanks.
