  1. So last Friday I called USCIS for the 4th time. I was told that cases would be updated on May 18th, however I was told that that was an estimate and that the cases had not been updated yet. I also was told that I could not make an info pass ( I think that's what it is referred to) appointment with my local USCIS office until after the 1 year has expired. My husband extension expires June 16th...and I always thought that I would have to make an appointment with the local USCIS office before the 1 year was up. Just to be clear, if we make an appointment with the local office to extend the time after the 1 year mark, that does not mean my husband is saying illegally, right? This is so confusing to me!

Also, for those of you who have had to get the extension after the 1 year mark, what did that entail? Did they interview you at all or did they just stamp the passport?

    Thank you!

  2. Hello! My husband submitted his I-751 on June 16th, 2016. He has completed all the biometrics, etc and we are just waiting for the decision. The thing is, we are supposed to have a decision by June 15th (next month)....we called USCIS 3 times. First, we were told his would be completed in 3 weeks...this was back in March. Then, we called and they told us they were still on June 6th cases. I called again last week and they were still on June 6th cases and I was told they get updated once a month (supposedly this month on the 18th). I asked them what we should do is my husbands decision isn't ready by June 15th...she of course says to call back later this month and says that he might need to go to the  local USCIS office to extend his extension that he already has...however she didn't specify WHEN we should do that...I am starting to get worried and am unsure about what to do! Any suggestions? Anyone else's case taking over a year? Are they just backlogged?
