She mailed 3 times to service center that is holding the case but no responses starting 2023. Just create an online account and uploaded the divorce cert and sent a secure message but online portal does not have a space for you to explain the circumstance. It has a menu for you to check for the appropriate inquiry. So I checked "did not receive a response/make a decision". Then I received a response the case is processing within time.

Family-Based First Preference (F1) for unmarried sons and daughters of U.S. citizen. the visa was current few years ago if her case upgraded to F1 from F3 (married son/daughter)

PD 05/20/2016, I-130 has not been approved yet for F3, but for F1 it is approved. if they allowed to upgrade, her case should be approved.

I am writing this query in behalf of my aunt who petitioned her married son last 2016 and now a divorce. Her question is, how can she change the status of the petition from F3(married son/daughter of USC) to F1(unmarried son/daughter of USC)? Her case is pending at USCIS California Service Center. She mailed her son dvorcee decree, receipt number, and explaining letter 3 times over pass 2 yrs, but still waiting a response from USCIS? Are there anyway can she do to speed up the case? Thank you

N-600 Part 4 Item 4 asking about Information About Your U.S. Citizen Biological Father downloaded form is "Country of Citizenship or Nationality" of father online form after you filled out and downloaded to computer "Country of Prior Citizenship or Nationality" of father online form while filling this question Item 4 "Country of Citizenship or Nationality" I came here from Vietnam and was naturalized and become US Citizenship later. My question is I am filing the form on behalf of my daughter and the question is about me. On downloaded form the country is USA. but the online form the country is Vietnam. So, which is I am going to input? Thank you

Hi, If a person is paying child support BUT does not claim any children on tax return do he/she needs to add children on I-864 as dependents? I-864 instructions states, "Type or print the number of unmarried children you have who are under 21 years of age, even if you do not have legal custody of these children. You may exclude any unmarried children under 21 years of age, if these children have reached majority under the law of their place of domicile and you do not claim them as dependents on your Federal income tax returns." Hello, My friend's child was denied passport application for derivative citizenship. The child came here and has green card when she was 17 years old and 4 months. 3 months later her mom became US citizen through naturalization. Yesterday, both parent and child (just over 18 and 3 months today) came to USPS for passport application and was told the child need Certification of Naturalization of her in order to apply. The child brought her Birth Cert, green card, mom's Naturalization Cert, school record, and tax 1040. I believe USPS agent did not know the rule about derivative citizenship. Any input is appreciated. Thank you

How can a regional airport be a POE (do customs and admission)? -
Hi, I am helping my friend renew her permanent green card. She came here 23 years ago under CR1 visa (spousal visa). Only her husband knew which POE she entered, however he passed away few years ago. I have attached the picture of her POE stamp but don't know the POE code. Trying google CBP for the POE but none matching. Any inputs about the POE are appreciated? Thank you.

My friend paid AOS fee and the status showed 'paid", but she cannot she the link to upload i-864. Attached is the screenshot. Please suggest what she going to do? Thank you.
