    Do you recommend a photo studio where they are more patient? So skip the app and skip Walgreens/CVS and go to a photo studio where they are more patient?

    It also depends on the employee taking the photo. They could be busy and want to move on. I am a guy. What do you recommend I wear? After this, I will need to take another photo to apply for U.S Passport.

    Hello. I am applying for U.S Citizenship and need assistance to get 2 passport size 2 by 2 photos. I know I can go to my local Walgreens and get them but I want them to look ‘nice’. It has to be white background. I am not sure if local store will take their time to do retakes if I am not satisfied with initial photo? Has anyone done this with their smartphone camera? If so, which app? Are they acceptable?

    My PR card says 2/26/19. I can apply on a 5 year rule. Not marriage based. So for the early filing I can apply on or after 11/28/23? How long will it take for a decision? I would be filing out of the Houston office.

    I think most would just be happy to be able to work and drive.

    True but how common is that for a GC holder? That is a non issue for me.

    I am not getting a gift/inheritance so that is a non issue for me. Anything else? It does not even effect the W-2/1099 workers. I am not seeking any scholarship so I am good there. I am also not seeking a gov't job. I also am not looking to travel any soon to a country that I would be denied to in near future. The stuff you mentioned are not very common.

    Can you explain on the taxes? Unless you want a job in government then you don’t need to be a USC. You can be denied education if you are not USC? GC let’s you travel. You can participate in politics but can’t vote.

    If it was me I wouldn’t have a problem with wait times. I mean the difference is you can’t vote, what else?

    Yes. My lawyer and I checked as well as my BC had the correction year.

    USCIS had my year of birth wrong. I didn’t have to pay.

    What about a 5 year rule to apply for USC that is not marriage based? Would you say that is also a easier case to get approved?

    What is the purpose of online application? I have not pressed the apply button. I assume I may not have to use my pen?

    I had the ’NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT’ SS card before and once I got my EAD I applied to get the ‘VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION ONLY’. So that is what I have now.

    I thought it’s faster to fill it online first instead of filling it on paper later?
