  1. Yes but we did not file it with N-400. I also forgot to put my side Gig in the work history. I did put my full-time W-2 job.
  2. What about instructions for people who got AOS through a parent and never married? Never left USA so chances are they will not ask for it but I am getting it anyway after I file my 2023 Federal tax return just incase. The other issue is that I only listed my full time employer W-2 but also did side 1099 work and that is not listed in the N-400 application. Would that cause any issues?
  3. My lawyer told me to get the tax transcripts after I file my 2023 Federal tax returns. 2019-2023. I read the N-400 checklist in the USCIS site. It mentions about submitting it if based on marriage? So I should not get RFIE/RFE right?
  4. I read the USCIS N-400 checklist. it says to submit tax transcripts if it is based on marriage. My AOS was not based on marriage. I am Single.
  5. I think USCIS needs to see the last 5 years of tax transcripts to make sure I lived here?
  6. Are you saying tax transcripts should have been submitted with N-400? I thought we bring the last 5 years to the interview?
  7. My lawyer said to get my tax transcripts once I file my 2023 Federal tax returns. This means 2019-2023. Lawyer sent it on 11/28/23 and that was the day I was eligible. N-400 asks for last 5 years of work history.
  8. My lawyer submitted my N-400 by mail yesterday but I forgot to mention the side Gigs that I worked which would be 1099. However, I do have my full-time job in the application which is W-2. Would this cause any issues, delays or problem at the interview? My lawyer instructed me to get my 2019-2023 tax transcripts after I file my 2023 Federal tax return.
  9. A little complex and piece of mind at the same time. My AOS was much more complex and simple at the same time. It was a 245i case as well. I could have done my AOS and Naturalization by myself if I wanted to though. Agreed on couple days after but my lawyer he never had it denied when he sent off a day before. Maybe the file stays with the USCIS office until it’s time to work on it.
  10. I am sorry. I never said my attorney has been a lawyer longer than you all. I meant that he has lot of experience and has done thousands of these applications. You all are great. I went to the office today to review what was being sent out to catch mistakes. He also emailed me the final copy of what was sent today. Lawyer’s staff does for work then lawyer reviews it. I am beyond satisfied so far.
  11. Did anyone file on the day you were eligible on the Early Filing Calculator?
  12. I will have to go to this office tomorrow to review it before it is sent off. My PR date shows 2/26/19. This means I am eligible on 11/28/23 right?
  13. True but I don’t think USCIS goes by postal stamp. They go by when that receive it. So if it was mailed today then they would not get it today. I will be going to his office to review it before it is sent.
  14. My lawyer says it’s not a problem. He has been an attorney for decades so maybe he knows something we don’t?
  15. Say you qualify to apply today according to the Early Filing Calculator but send it a day before. There should be fine right because it takes few days to get there?
  16. Oh ok. Well, for me every penny and more was worth it for the AOS interview.
  17. I know about the voting and benefits and know about the branches. I am a Dreamer so I took history in junior high, high school and college/university here in USA. Pretty sure I pass it once I study them.
