  1. My biometrics was in November 2017 for AOS. It will be reused. Saves USCIS funds. How much do they spend on doing the biometrics per applicant. I wonder why we don’t have to take it again?
  2. Houston FO too. 5 year rule only option. 11/28/23 sent paper.
  3. They will reuse biometrics but still no interview update. This will be at the Houston FO. How long do I have to wait? The packet was mailed on 11/28/23.
  4. Right. It’s an estimate but should be quicker according to this site.
  5. Someone got an interview notice and they filed in the December thread. Check with Lawfully app too.
  6. That’s really fast. When was the application received by USCIS? You are the first one to report an interview in this thread.
  7. Move to a state where it’s legal to marry 1st cousin.
  8. 7 months is according to USCIS. This site and Lawfully app is good for more precise updates.
  9. I think it’s best to let my Pakistan Passport expire. Keep renewing NICOP for life. I will keep dual citizenship and visa free entry to Pakistan.
  10. It’s always best to take a driving course to dismiss the case. It doesn’t go on your record and it’s much cheaper too. Unless you didn’t qualify it nor deferred disposition but bring the receipt to the interview if they ask for it. I don’t see any issues.
  11. My lawyer mailed my application on 11/28/23. This was the first day I qualified under the 90 day early filing rule for the 5 years. NOA: 12/1/23, We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice. 12/6/23: Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS. I use the Case Tracker app and website. I also use Lawfully app for more details like timeline compared to others. Also, should I be following this thread or the November 2023 thread? Yes you can. PDF file.
  12. That USCIS timeline is very general. Go with this site and Lawfully has a more precise update.
