You and your fiance need to write a letters stating your intent to marry within 90 days of your fiancee or fiance coming into United states.
Two separate letters one from the beneficiary and another letter from the petitioner. I have attached samples of letters of intent. Please draft it to match your own.

I don't think you should be worried. Because green card holders shouldn't be out US for more than a year, 6 months is still okay. The only time you should be worried is when you fill for citizenship. They will ask you if you have stayed outside the US for more than 6 months within the last one year.

Yes you do need letter of intent to marry. Also a one letter telling them how you met your fiance. And how many times you both have seen in person. Make sure you include itineraries or copy of your stamp passport page that shows entry into that country visited to see your fiance.

Take both marriage certificates to your interview explain that you had your religious wedding before your civil wedding. Also take pictures you took on both weddings to your interview. And your wedding invitation with you.
