this is very helpful thank u harsh. i noticed some stuff says petitioner so i know to send only that for me but some does not like valid unexpired passport. so do we send passport for both of us or only beneficiary. how do you know which thing applies to beneficiary or petitioner if that makes sense...

    Oops sorry ,

All items listed in #2 are of beneficiary's

And all items #3 are petitioners

Happy Holidays everyone! Does anybody know if 26-27-28-29-30 are working days for USCIS? If so, do they actually approve petitions during those days?

They should be open and working as normally on 26-29

Although things will be very slow I think as lot's of people take holidays the whole week to use vacation time etc so there will be less workers working

Let's hope for some good news next week thou , I can use it lol

Hey folks, long time lurker and first time poster here. Just wanted to give an update on my case -- April 7 PD, Nebraska service center. Yesterday I received a notice that my name has been updated. Hoping it means good news soon!

    Hey nice indeed

That means someone is working / worked on your case and it is either approved or RFE is being sent

    Hopefully it's approved man

    Congrats

  6. hmm, depends what kind of proof they want,

as people said , you can submit things like something that shows Joint Ownership , like bank account or something

you can also submit like history of chats and calls from each month throughout this process

pictures of you two guys together from vacation trips , or if he visited you while on this process ,

can also submit  bona-fide letters from families acknowledging that marriage took place and all .

  7. But I usually just choose these options to get to first agent fast

    1 2 2 2

    1 for English

2   case information / questions on case

    2.   Can't find receipt #

    2.   Still can't find receipt #

And this will transfer to rep during normal. Call hours

  8. Here's what I got on my case tracker today

April 5 ~~~ Sent to DoS

    Aprol 3. ( 5 cases ). ~~~ Sent to DoS

March 28 ~~~~ Sent to DoS

March 17 ~~~ Sent to DoS

No w I know the feeling of seeing  8 cases getting approved right after my case but not mine  🤤🙄🙄🙄

But I am happy , I'll see any approval anytime I know 😁😁

When we call uscis, what phone options we choose to get to tier 2?

You have to talk to normal customer rep snd ask them to transfer you to tier 2 ,

Just a quick question for everyone qt nvc....i was very annoying and diligent about calling nvc after my case approval...long story short i had given them my email over the phone and since then paid all fees and submitted docs...was i supposed to receive a welcome letter in the mail or not ?

Yeah you should receive welcome letter in mail but I have heard it takes a while sometimes to get

My wife phoned USCIS earlier and requested a call back.

An hour later a tier 2 representative called and was really nice and helpful.

    Case approved 15 December

He said the notification is going to be sent to the embassy in Dublin.  I just assumed they would mail the NOA 2 direct to our Irish home address.

    Nice congratulations buddy

Thank you so much so the next move is waiting for the welcome letter, correct?? Then I call for the case number?  I honestly gave up on this whole thing an now it's been approved🙈🙈

Sort of ,  welcome letter comes very late ,. I would start calling NVC 2 weeks after USCIS sends your file to NVC

Get the case number and invoice Id by phone so you can log in online and pay first fee and fill out DS-261

Hmm... we are 27 March and haven't gotten any news. So frustrating. I'm surprised that even a tier 2 would give you info or try to help since they're still officially saying they're only in Jan. Maybe I'll call too.

Yeah I was surprised too these rep was nice , he was saying  I could go by website and tell you we are working in January  but I won't do that , he saw my denied expedite so he said I can shoot email like this and you'll receive reply soon with proper accurate details on your case

So let's see , I already see that this request is created on my case in USCIS case history

I just spoke to a very unsympathetic Tier 2.  She just read me the standard bull lines that I've been hearing for months.  I asked to speak to someone else but she told me there was no other person I could speak to.  Is that true?  At least when I spoke to a Tier 2 a few weeks ago, that guy gave me hope (maybe false hope) and I felt he was trying to find me answers.  I am so over this process!  At 376 days since my PD!

I am sorry you had to go through that person ,

I would call back and talk to tier 2 again , you'll most likely get different person. ,

I called yesterday and the tier 2 rep I talked to was very understanding ,

He said I don't see any update on case so he sent an email to USCIS in Nebraska on my case to " approve the petition or give clear status update to where my case is ".

    Don't loose hope

You can also try is make infopass appointment to one of the USCIS office near by you and talk to officer directly , sometimes they can be real help

Thanx so much but is there anywhere else I can get a list I was informed I will not be required to submit w-2s. An does anyone no how much the fees that need to be paid to NVC????

here is the List , NVC will also sent you this on your welcome Mail

I think AOS Fee is : $120    and IV Fee is :   $325     ( if i am not wrong I believe  that's  the fees )
