  1. I have needed mine 2 times so far since my divorce. That was getting remarried and her CR1. No need to rush off and get a new one.
  2. In answer to your question, and the reason I always tell people that the most important thing that they can do is ask the LCR about their expedite process, is once they have sent it off for normal processing, you can do nothing but wait. PSA needs the original. If it has already been sent, there is nothing that the LCR or you can do you can do.
  3. I did not read your post. Just know this. Everyone's status shows that right before being issued. Nothing at all to worry about.
  4. Can also do the Utah route while in the PH taking care of both at once
  5. In my wife's case we did not have a baptismal certificate. We did provide school pictures and school records (form 137e and form 137)) from elementary and high school.
  6. Well when people here ask for advice I want to be accurate. I have seen way too many times where people have received a 221g, to lead them to believe that they will not receive one, or not be required to have more proof. I think that your wife is an exception to what is common.
  7. I am trying to figure out what that has to do with late registration. If you come with a PSA BC that is marked with "late registration" you will need supporting documents. I am not here to argue as I have been there done that. Better have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I wish that I knew you when my wife had her interview, maybe I could have had you explain to the CO that it was not needed.
  8. Not true. They will issue a 221G asking for more supplemental documents. That's why it's best to bring them in advance. Here is what my wifes 2221G said:
  9. About my statement? I am positive. Utah is an option if you want the get a CR1. I don't know of anyone that has tried that yet. Doesn't matter it you are Filipino. Get a CENOMAR (in your case it would be a CEMAR) and you will see that you are legally married in PH. In all cases your biggest challenge will be CFO. But like @IWander said she would most likely get it, she would just have to beg, plead, and jump through hoops. You will never get a ROM for your new marriage until you get a recognition of divorce. It is PSA now not NSO
  10. Just get anything you can. School pictures, school records, doctor records, etc. Also the things that you have listed. ring it to the interview.
  11. You were married in the PH so you will be considered legally married there until you get a recognition of divorce from the PH government. This takes lots of money and 1-2 years. You are better off filing for a fiance visa.
  12. Some things are blessings in disguise. Spring would definitely be a better time to have her come. Hard enough having to get used to a new place without adding ice and snow to it. She has probably never experienced anything below 65 degrees.
  13. Exactly correct! I think on my entire time on this forum I can recall maybe 2 that had to get treatment. Don't waste energy even thinking about it until you find out. One more thing that you need to be aware of @RA_PH1 is that the 6 month validity of the visa started the first day of her medical. So this means you will now only have about 4 months after she completes sputum testing to get to America.
  14. It could hurt to get a letter offer from your past employer if possible.
  15. You could also try Air BNB
  16. Immunizations are on the last day.
  17. Trying to do it ahead of time is a waste of time. When it comes tom the medical, you pay one fee and SLEC does everything. You must go through them to get approval. Previous records do nothing except immunization records.

Don't over think it. I would put son. Don't make this harder than it has to be.

#4 does not apply to you. Where do you see anything about a green card? Are you immigrating to New Zealand or Australia? So it does not apply to you. 1 valid ID. I am assuming you have a passport that is valid or else you can't travel. They no longer do online.
  21. Having a visa and CFO sticker pretty much tells them that you have submitted all of the documents to get that far. The only other thing that she needs to bring is he confidence. If she seems unsure she will draw attention and scrutiny.
  22. I just looked it up. It's 120 days.
  23. This would have been good to know. I was trying to get you to understand that the license takes 2 weeks to get which if you were getting married on the same trip would need to be 3 weeks (to be safe). Since you said you don't plan to get married your first trip, (thank god) in might be a good idea to apply for a marriage license while you are there and it would take 2 weeks to get. You don't be there when she gets it and you have to use it. But then again if you decide to go CR1 route (which is a much better option IMO) and if you go back and use it it would mean that you could do it in a 1 week trip.
  24. Just show both passports when leaving and he is fine. I brought my 2 sons the same way.
