  1. I don't think you will need them but, if you want to send it go ahead. My recommendations based on service and price: 1. LBC if it is close 2. DHL 3. FedEx
  2. Just so you know, different countries are different. This is why the OP posted in a regional forum to get Philippine specific answers. It is very, very difficult to get a visitors visa in the Philippines.
  3. Do they own their property and house? That is a biggie. If so their chances are not bad, but it's always challenging getting a tourist visa in PH despite what others are saying. Best of luck and keep us posted.
  4. Keep in mind they will let her keep her old passport, they will just punch a hole through it, so she will have it along with the new one. She should show both if asked and I doubt there should be any problem.
  5. Probably not needed but better to bring everything and not need it than not bring it and need it. Just make sure she goes right away to get the new passport so she can receive if before she leaves.
  6. First thing that you need to tell her is to stop going to TikTok and FB Groups for advice. One Embassy interview and she may be confusing the CFO as a second interview. The CFO is something every Filipino must go through to exit the Philippines with immigration intent. Another thing that you need to understand is that Filipinos love to worry. If they have nothing to worry about they will go seek out something to worry about.
  7. For me when I arrive to the Philippines I put my passport in a safe place as soon as I arrive to where I am staying. I only carry my USA drivers license around while I am there so that I can be identified if something were to happen to me. Your wife has zero reason to be carrying the green card or any passport around with her while she is there so if that's the case she should not lose it. I wouldn't even worry about this, you can not begin to plan for every possible scenario of what "could" go wrong.
  8. Don't even waste your time worrying about this. Everyone in the Embassy knows that BCs have incorrect data more often than all correct. If your name, sex, and birth date are correct, it doesn't matter and they will most likely not even notice. My wife's BC says that her mom was 45 at birth. Is your BC notated in the top right corner with "Late Registration"? If so they will ask you for school records (and pictures), medical and a baptismal certificate (if you have one) from before the age 16. If you do not have that at the interview they may give you a 221G requesting the information and giving you time to get the info and send it to them. I am not sure where or why you got a " Affidavit of Delayed Registration" but I am guessing you read it in some FB group or something. My wife received a 221g for late registration. You know what they didn't ask for in the 221g? An Affidavit of Delayed Registration. If your Birth Certificate is not notated with Late Registration, like the pic, then you are worrying about nothing.
  9. Tell her stop watching YouTube videos, Facebook groups etc. I don't know if I will catch flack for this but Filipinos love to go out of their way to find things to worry about. The other thing that is real in the Philippines is they "they said" culture. You will hear the strangest things you can imagine and ask where they heard that from. The answer is...They said. Who is this "they"? You can't let a baby get a drop of rain on them but you can give them a bath. You can't eat watermelon after a c section or your wound will open up. I have really considered writing a book and calling it, they said. Stick to these forums whee you will get accurate information. Don't you let her pull you into this. You need to be the voice of reason.
  10. @mike876 Is your caps lock button broke? Asking for a friend Refer to my previous post: Do you think you are the first person to do this 2x? Stop worrying. She will get her CFO Show me 1 example of this. I'll wait,,,,
  11. It's very simple, you meet the requirements or you don't. There is no such thing as kinda.
  12. No worries. Just make sure that she gets a green card before going back. Why did she? Did you meet her in Guam?
  13. CFO is something that any Filipino must complete before leaving the country for any type of immigration intent. Yes, we had to do the medical again Fortunately, she was not flagged for sputum the second time. Our biggest issue was the covid shutdown. We did everything we could to try and reschedule the interview after having to go through the sputum. a little over 3 months later we finally got scheduled. We got a 221g and by the time that was fixed and they were ready to issue the visa we only had a few days of validity left and it did not give us enough time. The embassy said retake the medical and then they would issue the visa. Everything went smoothly from there. In your case she has the visa. If she does not use it before it expires it will be a more difficult process. That's why everyone here is suggesting to do anything you can to get the CFO on Monday. Hopefully they will take pity on her and let her through. As far as greasing the wheels, that is common in a lot of things in the Philippines, but don't even think about it with the CFO.
  14. It looks like you waited too long to come to this forum. CFO is a Philippines requirement and has nothing to do with the visa or the visa process. I agree with the above, show up on Monday and beg if you must. Make sure you can show verification of the plane ticket and explain that you had no idea that it was needed. She must bring her passport and 2 ID, and a copy of your passport and marriage certificate. I can pretty much guarantee that you will not be able to get an extension because it is your responsibility to know about the CFO. The expiration of visa is 6 months from the first appointment of the medical not when it is completed (after sputum). My wife had the same issue because after the sputum, we could not get an interview after the completion due to covid lockdown. Finally got the interview about 1 week before her medical expired so she had to re-take the medical. Best of luck to you.
  15. You are over thinking. Your CFO shows married. You will need to submit your divorce decree. CFO will most likely make your fiance jump through more hoops than most, but she will get her sticker. Tell her stay strong, and confident, yet humble. If she is weak or timid they will chew her up.
  16. No specific expertise on this, but these are my thoughts. You are trying to immigrate through the US government. While some states and some other countries have legalized marijuana for medical us,e and some even for recreational use, the federal government has not, so this will be a problem.
  17. Subject says IRS so that would lead me to believe US taxes
  18. If the kids are US citizens they can get theirs through healthcare.gov as well as your husband. You can also go through there I believe) after you get a green card, but you would need to do it through marketplace. Of course this is all based on if you qualify. I believe they have a link to submit a request for help applying. Someone will call you. I think you have to make an account and put in an application put in an application first. At least your husband and children could get coverage immediately.
  19. Just to be absolutely clear, it is exactly 6 months from the first day you check in for your medical at SLEC.
  20. They have a location for all of that. These forums. Every pitfall you can come across has been posted here. The problem is if you only come here when you have a problem and make a post, you will not know the abundance of the information here. I started frequenting these forums when I first had the thought of pursuing a visa for my wife. I came here every day or 2 during the entire process.
  21. I do not know how many times I need to say this. Sadly that also includes this forum. Every LCR is different. Find out exactly what you need. Also they should be able to tell you how to get it. If they only want one from the embassy, you will need to go to the embassy. I flew into Manila in the evening. Stayed in a hotel across the street from the embassy, went there and got affidavit in the morning, then went off to my wife's place.
  22. We have a Jolibee's inside of our Seafood City, and Red Ribbon.
