  1. I left with my wife and 2 children a few years ago. I didn't really even think about that stuff. They told us where to go and what to do. We were never separated. It was like they had done this before.
  2. I don't know why you are so hung up on this. The immigration process is hard enough, you do not need to make it harder. You need to submit the PSA certificate. The PSA certificate is 2 pages. You will submit it as you received it and you will have no problems. Philippines is not great on accuracy. I would bet that 50% of birth certificates are wrong in some way or another, maybe more.
  3. Be careful of the they said culture in the Philippines. Always make sure who "they" are. I have always thought about writing a book titled "They Said". My wife just told me another good one the other day. They said if you take Midol that later you will not be able to get pregnant. There is a lot more where that came from.
  4. A marriage license and a marriage certificate are 2 different things. All that matters for immigration purposes is that you have a valid PSA marriage certificate. No one cares if you had a license or not.
  5. I just looked it up. I think you are worrying about nothing. All that matters is that you have a valid PSA marriage certificate which you do. What makes you believe this will be an issue?
  6. So what is article 34, or 24 that you mentioned earlier?
  7. So what is the discrepancy? Everything sounds normal to me. LCR sends the certificate to PSA. PSA certifies the original and enters it into the national record archives.
  8. Are you talking about your CEMAR or PSA Marriage Certificate? I am confused as to what you are asking?

    221g

The 221G will state exactly what they want. If you send that expect it to continue once they receive your info. Maybe 2 weeks.
  10. Well to add another twist he will be getting married to a Pinay in July opening up even more options.
  11. I didn't know that was possible. Definitely sounds like the best option if this is the case.
  12. https://honolulupcg.dfa.gov.ph/consular-services/dual-citizenship Here is Honolulu Consulate. 3rd paragraph.
  13. That does not change what is in the link, just where you would file. The info is still accurate. Now, the big question, was Z still a Philippines citizen at the time of birth? If she got her US citizenship after the birth of your children you can still file for the dual citizenship for them, or she can. If that's the case I would definitely do that.

    CENOMAR

I don't understand what you mean by eligible. Maybe better if you state why you are asking. But anyone can apply for and receive a CEMOMAR/CEMAR. It's just asking PSA if the applicant has record of being married in the Philippines or not. If they have no record of marriage you receive a CENOMAR. If they have a record on file of being married you receive a CEMAR. Your citizenship or whether you lived there or not have nothing to do with it
  16. Don't even think about it. Waste of money and time. No treatment matters unless it is administered by SLEC. Just stop. There is no easy way around this. If she gets flagged for sputum, it is extremely rare that she would actually have TB and required treatment. Stop following FB groups, or tell her to stop. Spot on!
  17. For 1 and 2, after getting married you will need to file a ROM with the Philippines Consulate in San Francisco (they have jurisdiction over Utah). Search this sub forum regarding Utah wedding you find all of the specifics for what you need.
  18. I wasn't thinking straight above. She shouldn't have a problem since she has not been married in PH. And it is PSA formerly NSO. There is no such thing as NSA
  19. Only place I know of is Utah. It is now PSA it used to be NSO, and no they will not recognize new marriage and you will not be able to file for a ROM (recognition of marriage). You will need to file a Petition for Recognition of Foreign Divorce with the Regional Trial Court in the Philippines before you can file for a ROM. This process can take a long time and cost a bit of money. None of this has any affect on her immigrating here. She can come on her maiden name. If you want to go through the process she can legally change her name on the passport and file the ROM after the Recognition of Foreign Divorce is complete.
  20. I wouldn't even attempt it if it were me. Wait till she gets her visa. Go there and exit with her and take your vacation then head on to USA.
  21. First off, that's not really a huge age gap. Its actually pretty common. My wife and I are25 years. Like Top Secret said, be confident not timid and you will be fine. Second, don't worry so much. All my years on this forum I have seen some be given a hard time, but I don't recall anyone that did not receive their sticker in the end.
  22. You don't need any documents to get a CENOMAR. You can even order online. You should have no problems getting 2 under different names.
  23. Yes and yes. My 2 sons are both dual citizens and have both passports.
  24. While you have nothing to worry about with the Balikbayan visa program since your child and or you are able to stay up to a year. I would try to make the time to register the birth of your child in the Philippines and get their passport while there. Just make sure that you bring all of the required docs with you.
