  1. Hold on.... You've posted this in the K1 AOS forum. You're married to who? Your mother? K1 forum so this makes what you wrote hear confusing. Please clarify who I864 is for and who "we" is. "She" is who? Your K1 beneficiary? Your mom? Both because you're married to your mom?
  2. Adobe PDF Filler app. I've filled out every form since I129F to I751 on my phone.
  3. Nope. Has to appear on MC. Just like any other state. https://www.mass.gov/info-details/massachusetts-law-about-name-changes#:~:text="Each party to a marriage, adopt any hyphenated combination thereof."
  4. @Lemonslice Nah, you've misinterpreted what it says. You have to choose from any name listed on the MC. You cannot
  5. No. Any name she wishes to use moving forward must appear on the MC in any format. She'll have to go the legal route to do what you wish to do and that should be done when applying for citizenship so it doesn't affect the immigration process.
  6. If they both came as you described they can both be nabbed for Visa Fraud and deported and banned. Ie. If the Step daughter knew she was going to AOS before she arrived too, her case is visa fraud as well.
  7. You'll have to file FBAR when you file taxes FOR 2023 because you HAD more than $10000 USD in a foreign account DURING 2023. It doesn't matter if you aren't working. You'll file taxes jointly with your spouse.
  8. N/A. You are applying ON BEHALF of anyone. They changed their own address.
  9. It's on your I129F Noa2 Approval Notice above the beneficiary's name. Right side of form. About 2 inches down from top.
  10. I765 and I131 USED TO always come as a Combo Card (if you did not mess with the application and try to expedite either of them). Biometrics are needed for the I765 which came as a Combo Card so yes, you need biometrics for I765. I131 was automatically adjudicated together if you applied for it together. So yes, because you applied for both you need biometrics to get I765 to get I131. There is no biometrics NOTICE for I131 but it's included because it's a COMBO. I131 by itself is not a Card. It's a paper notice with no photo or finger print.
  11. You can only attempt to expedite AP for the death of a parent, sibling or child of the applicant. Is that the case?
  12. USCIS has upped the projected wait for I751 to 4 years. They are currently issuing/reissuing 48 month extension letters to replace the previous 24 month ones.
  13. Yes it will. Check out my timeline for a list of the sequence of status updates. You likely haven't received the one that has the tracking number on it.
  14. Then you have your answer. 2 weeks after that approval. PLEASE fill out your timeline!!!!!
  15. You'll receive it about 2 weeks after you receive your GC. You could have selected to receive it on your I765 application also which would likely have come quicker than GC. Please fill out your timeline!!
  16. It won't matter. Apply for AOS in correct order. She has the right to use her new legal married name moving forward and that means she can use any combination of names on the MC. As long as the name appears on it, she can use it. Once she has GC presented correctly she can use it obtain anything else.
  17. Seems like you already are very sure that your RFE is not your fault.... Just like the hundreds of others who thought the same and wouldn't listen to advice as offered. You can seek those posts out if you wish and have a wonderful journey!
  18. Because you'd never in a zillion years have the same adjudicator looking at this petition as the last one. Because these RFEs are always generic. He is not included in household size. He has his own income. Hence why you submit his W2s. I have recommended it hundreds of times. Please fill out your timeline. I broke the cardinal rule of helping a member without one by answering you.
  19. The 2021 JOINT Return Transcript will show both of their combined income. Did you provide the joint sponsoring Spouse's W2 (and the joint NON sponsoring Spouse's W2 to differentiate who's income is who's on the joint Return Transcript)? I cannot see any of your photos. An upload of your extremely detailed Cover letter your originally submitted with table of contents would be easier. PS it's never "we sent everything correct the first time". You didn't. Generic RFE proves that.
  20. And that would have happened automatically if they requested a REPLACEMENT SSN card on the I485 application. Now they'll have to waste their time and go in person to SSA.
  21. Tax year is 2021 until the tax filing deadline in April. Three previous years is still 2021, 2020 and 2019 until then. If you HAD filed taxes already before the deadline then you would use 2022, 2021, 2020. They can't ASK for 2022 yet unless you disclose you filed.
  22. You'll need to apply for EAD at least and be approved before a K2 is eligible for SSN. Or GC (apply and be approved). K2s are not like K1s and aren't eligible upon entry.
  23. EAD - 180 days No. Yes. At 120 days. Renewal are free. You can't. Renew EAD on schedule. No. Keep everything.
  24. It takes just a couple of weeks. I'd call SSA HO in Maryland and ask what's up. Going to your local SSA is duplicitous.
