  1. What does the website (not your account) say for your LFO estimate for I485? Is it also 6 months (1 psst + 5 upcoming) or something entirely different?
  2. Your EAD card states your filing category of C9 which confirms your pending AOS application. I do recommend carrying a photocopy of your I485 Noa1 with your DL/State ID like you have been since filing incase whomever doesn't know what C9 means. Your passport would only prove you entered the US as a K1. It would not prove you married or filed AOS. Why confuse anyone?
  3. Where'd you get 5 weeks from? The current estimated timeline for EAD category C9 at the NBC is 7.5 months for 80% of all cases. The 20% left will take longer.
  4. Noa1 can take up to 30 days from when the shipment was RECEIVED not sent before you are eligible to place an EMAIL (not phone) enquiry to the Lockbox. With your shipping delay, it has definitely not been 30 days. You already know it was received and when because you tracked it.
  5. Thinking that is your mistake. CURRENT income is paramount, the totality of the financial situation is what they look at secondary. That's why the box on the form in Q8 is called Current income and not the amount from your tax return. You INPUT Tax reported amounts for all three years only in 24a,b,c. PROOF of it is only required for the most current year. Read the instructions carefully for those VERY different sections. The tax return is not a high value as per current income. That's why as the instructions state you can provide other evidences of current income.
  6. That's hugely false. GAI is for SELF EMPLOYED ONLY. The OP has only mentioned a W2 and has not mentioned any 1099 work. GTI is for employed. No wonder they are confused now.
  7. Please look at the tax return and not the W2. You are using the wrong amounts. Only self employed use GAI. Employed uses GTI. No, you will file in Oct 2024 and meet the guidelines for 2024. "Have to" is the wrong word. Tax filing and proof of it is the only requirement. If you didn't meet the guidelines, you'll receive an RFE to prove the original sponsor does meet them or you'll be required to get a standalone joint sponsor or a related immediate family member co-sponsor who lives with you. That doesn't make sense to me but okay. Remember IF you are using an Employment Verification Letter, it must state the predicted income for the whole year as an annum (x will make $ much per year NOT x will make $ much for 2024) and not from when he got his job until the end of the fiscal year and the 6 months of paystubs will prove that too. Sounds like you understand what financial documents you need for your particular situation to prove he meets the guidelines. Hopefully you understand that just because the taxes prove he has not met the guidelines doesnt mean his other financial documents don't. Sounds like you think taxes are the only thing they look at maybe???? Not sure. Your post is quite confusing whether you understand or not.
  8. Correct. You're thinking about this too much. How can it be required that you provide a 2024 tax proof if 2024 isn't over yet? 2024 taxes aren't the most recent year for proofs until after the filing deadline date in April 2025. 2023 taxes are the most recent tax year until April 2025.
  9. The guidelines are updated every year. Sometimes they go up and sometimes they go down. You have to meet the guidelines that are posted at the moment you file I485. And as well, you'll be required to prove you still meet whatever they are at the moment you are interviewed, if interviewed. The former (meeting them at the time you file I485) is the policy. The latter is a common practice that an adjudicator will sometimes expect from sponsors. Keep in mind that the AOS process can be two years plus before anyone opens your file and can be scheduled for an interview which is why: 1. if you aren't scheduled for one and is been a long time since you filed, they send out RFEs for current proof of meeting the guidelines. 2. if you are scheduled for interview, you'll bring an updated Affidavit of Support and financial proofs, just in case they want proof of still meeting the FPGLs.
  10. PS. The 2024 I864P will likely be released shortly anyways with this year's FPGLs. It usually comes into effect Feb/Mar.
  11. Gross Total Income comes before the Adjustments section. I cannot and won't quote line numbers because every year they seem to change it and I'm not about to go searching for this year's copy as I haven't filled yet. Look at the paper copy of the ACTUAL tax return that you are to keep for your records for 7 years. Are you using this info to fill something out? Your timeline says you haven't been approved for a K1 visa but you've posted this in the K1 AOS forum. Numbers on any Affidavit of Support must be supported and match financial documents. It's best you wait for the actual financial document that you can use as proof before you go inputting numbers incorrectly.
  12. You find it on your actual income tax forms that you filed or your return tax transcript after you file taxes not an earnings statement (W2 or 1099). Gross income for employed. Gross adjustable for self employed.
  13. Get proof of job offer in writing and call for an expedite. Only EAD will be expedited. AP will come separately. Your timeline is blank.
  14. Once the 90 days is up, a K1 is out of status unless they've married and filed AOS. So essentially, she was out of status all that time and you just didn't get caught. Now you have. To remedy, you'll have to refile AOS asap so she has status pending AOS.
  15. No timeline on their profile either. I'm seriously thinking about boycotting all members who refuse to help us by filling out their timeline before asking questions in the forum. I hope no one ends up using this post for help because by golly, it's all over the place and could confuse so many unnecessarily.
  16. Exactly. The RFE isn't about payment at all. The whole RFE with with petition type at the top is needed.
  17. If that's your RFE (cant tell or see the pertinent info at the top????) it is saying you filed out your I485 wrong as a K1 AOS application. A clear, full copy with name, address and A number redacted of RFE AND MONEY ORDERS (to see if they are filled out correctly) is needed to help any further.
  18. Only the hand or finger being bandaged or casted that would prevent you from doing the electronic biometrics retrieval.
  19. Are you planning to petition your mom? No? Doesn't matter then. Yes? Matters and you'll need to fix.
  20. You can look up your estimated wait for any form (and continue to monitor it through your journey) using the USCIS processing times website. You'll need to know the Service Center that you are allocated when you submit it. It's usually NBC for K1 AOS applicants.
  21. More than one MO is not an issue. You are allowed to use multiple MOs. The only issue would be loss. OP has yet to respond to any of our comments though so we'll never know. It likely had nothing to do with what we are all assuming and guessing due to lack of details.
  22. Money order is definitely traceable. You can call the 1800 number or go to the website listed on it to see if it was cashed.
  23. Payment amount for what form? Post a copy of the redacted Rejection Notice and Redacted MO.
  24. No. You want REPLACEMENT cards in her MARRIED name. Yes. She'll get SSN card(s) with the name she's filled out her AOS forms in which is her MARRIED name.
