Yes, I applied in June 2021 and it was approved in August 2022, almost 14 months later. It just took forever, but not other issues or any requests for additional evidence.
The approval notice bounced and was sent back to the USCIS, so I've had a bit of an issue to pick it it, but it was resolved after emailing the embassy to where it was sent and explaining the situation. After that I was welcome to the embassy to pick it up, even without the approval notice.
Also, it's actually to your favour that it drags out, since it will be valid for two years after it’s approved, regardless of then you applied.
