Congratulations and finally right? Now the biggest thing she would need is her NBI clearance, a copy of her cenomar and birth certificate. Here's a link for you to review to pay for fees and documnets you'll need. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview.html. Hope this helps and again congrats!!!

Since my wife and I are married it's only 3 years to apply for a US citizineship. Unmarried lawful permanent residents have to wait 5 years to apply. I did go with her to her interview since she doesn't drive yet!! I waited outside for her to finish her interview. Just got a notice of action that her oath ceremony will be March 15! So the journey is almost complete. -

Thanks! Since my wife is married to me as a natural born US citizen it's only 3 years to apply for a US citizen. 5 years if you are unmarried and a lawful permanent resident. Yes, I went with her because she doesn't drive yet! LOL! But I had to wait outside till the interview was done. Thanks! So the wife went to her citizenship interview and only lasted 15 minutes. The Immigration officer never asked for any documents we brought to the interview. My wife answer all 10 correct question and now she passed! Oath ceremony will be within 30 days. One last time and she is officially done with Immigration services. I't been a long 8 years but it's been well worth it. Now her daughter will be here in 10 days from the Philippines so she's happy to have her daughter finally coming home here in Las Vegas. One thing in your interview just answer the questions and don't give too much details and you'll do just fine!!! -

Hope all goes well and just remember you only need to get 6 right answers out of 10. You'll do fine and hopefully your oath ceremony will be shortly after. God bless!! -

We submitted out application on October 29th, and they sent us a notice a few days later stating they will reuse my wife's fingerprints from 5 years ago. The wait time is running 5-6 months for interview and oath ceremony. 2 months have passed already! My wife's daughter is having her visa interview next month an the 16th in Manila, Philippines so next year will be a good year for sure! -

Filed our N400 online was pretty simple and added documents from my last 3 years tax returns our lease and bank statements. Here in Vegas the time of wait is 4-5 months from the initial application to the oath ceremony. Last leg of our journey almost over now. -
Hi there, I was just inquiring about my wife's daughter who is still waiting for an interview appointment in Manila, Philippines. Her application was approved way back in Novenber 2022 and still she has no interview appointment yet. Is there a case bulletin to find her priority date or what? VERY disappointing with NVC!! We filed before her 21st birthday so I do believe she is still under the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA). Just frustrated it is taking this long even we know or at least they say it was due to covid back logs. By the way I did reach out to my Democratic senators here in Nevada but 3 months later NO response so to me they are worthless and just don't care. Hope to hear from you and praying you get a response here soon and a happy new year to you!!

JUst got my wife's approval letter yesterday as it was approved on Aug. 15th. Long time waiting, but glad we didn't need an interview either as I see many aren't needing one. Should have her 10 year green card tomorrow the 23rd of August just 1 day shy of her 43rd birthday! Now on to the N400 US citizenship application.
