  1. Hello friends. HELP! I am helping a relative that just got their interview scheduled on the 17th of December 2024 in Djibouti. I went in to check if everything was ok for the interview and they sent an incomplete on where you submit your civil docs. They said the I 864 EZ was missing. How could that be we filed for the I 864 showing the immigrant and her 2 kids are immigrating. I thought if you answered a No to one of the questions on the I 864EZ form that means you file the I 864. I am confused of what to do for them. Should i submit the I 864 EZ form to them and indicate this is the wrong form or do an inquiry and tell them there was an error on the NVC website. There is not enough time and we don't want any delays. Your help is truly appreciated.
  2. Hi everyone. Does anyone know anything about Djibouti interviews. My friend has an appointment coming up in December and would like to know if they are requesting the people who have interviews confirm that they are coming to the interview. As far as i know you just attend the interview with your appointment letter and confirmation letter and other civil docs. Your help is truly appreciated.
  3. Hello friends. I have a friend who has a relative that came on a tourist visa and had her baby here in which he became citizen afterwards. Can that child return at the age of 6. When his mom comes back on a tourist visa and attend an elementary school? your help is always truly appreciated.
  4. Good evening my friends, my brother in law's wife just had an interview at Djibouti on Friday and they refused her visa because she has to show more proof of there relationship. After 4 kids with him what kind of proof would they need other than whats app messages and pictures taken and western union support. Does it mean they will make her another appointment to come back after she submits all the proof or does she wait in Djibouti until they give her an appointment. How long does it take before they decide? Does she need to go back home until they decide. Her kids are with her but she doesn't know what to do? your help is always appreciated.
  5. Her parents are overseas not in the US.
  6. Hello friends, my aunt is a US citizen trying to bring her parents to the US. USCIS sent her an approval notice but told her to file for I 824. Apparently the person who filed for her parents forgot to add Djibouti as where they would interview and now she has to file I 824. I am trying to help her fix the issue but on the form I 824 Part 2 reason for request has confused me. I don't know which one to choose. since he original I 130 did not indicate where she would interview I thought it would be 1b. putting in Djibouti as the answer but someone said that it should be 1d. If i choose 1 d , how will the NVC know where we want them to interview? Which one should we choose? I don't want her to make anymore mistakes because it is costing her alot of money for these forms. Your assistance is truly appreciated.
  7. Hello, my friend is a US citizen and wants to visit her husband abroad with her baby and needs to apply for a US passport. When applying for the passport, if the husband is not here, can she alone apply for the passport or does she need any documents from her husband abroad to let her apply for the US passport? What does she need to apply for the passport at the post office?
  8. Good evening friends, I have a relative who won the lottery visa for 2022 and just came 3 months ago with her family. When she applied for the visa she put 3 of her children and husband, they got the interview and was called back to get there visas but her 14 yr old didn't get a visa because they told her there was not enough visas to give. My relative was devastated to hear her son could not come with them but how can that be if the whole family was on that application why did they refuse him? Then my relative was told that her son can join her in 4 yrs. How is that possible? What can she do now, he is there with a relative of hers and she doesn't know what to do. Will he get the visa later to join her or does she need to apply for something? I truly need your help please, she is going through alot now not having her 14yr old with her and doesn't know what to do. For any suggestions your help is truly appreciated. Thank you.
  9. Morning thank you for your replies I truly appreciate it. He entered the US in 1974 through NYC and was given a blue green card and his visa says F 8 on it. He left the US 25 years ago and there is no expiration date on the card. Sorry for my wording about the 25yrs. My dad at that time petitioned for him. He left US in 1998. I presumed his card expired because he has been out for this long. So basically there is nothing he can do about his green card. Except enter through his siblings or if had kids here to petition for him. Thank you for your help.
  10. Good morning friends it has been awhile since I have been here. I have an uncle who has an expired green card that expired about 25 years ago. Can he reopen it again or does he need to reapply all over again to come to the usa? He over stayed where he lives now due to family matters. What can I do for him from here in the US. Your help is truly appreciated.
