  1. Thus endeth the process - had my N-400 interview in Seattle yesterday. I was called in about 40 minutes past the scheduled time, finished up in about 15 minutes. Heading out I just missed one oath ceremony and had to wait about an hour for the next which was the last of the day. I had already scheduled an urgent travel appointment at the Passport Agency for today on the assumption that I'd pass, had to wait well over two hours past that appointed time, but I should have my passport in a day or two, I can't be in travel limbo for 2+ months. Surreal how quick this last step was compared to all the other steps...
  2. I have NEXUS, so not the exact same case, but I just took the extension letter to the enrollment center since I have one close to home and the officer updated both the US and Canadian systems - no issues with either Nexus lanes, TSA Precheck or Global Entry after that.
  3. Followup question - the interview notice says to bring all travel documents used to ever enter the US, will they expect (and take away) the old EAD card and 2-year conditional GC as well?
  4. Assuming you're filing online the system will tell you exactly what to include. I recently filed under the five year rule, included scans of front and back of GC, scan of marriage certificate, nothing else required. Went from filing to interview scheduled in 2.5 months.
  5. You should be fine with just the trips since green card. I didn't have any detailed records of 100-ish trips over the past 5 years and since CBP stopped making travel history available for permanent residents on the web I ended up doing a FOIA request for US entry records, and a separate ATIP request with CBSA for Canadian entries. You can get exit records from both sides as well but those are hit&miss, easier to just match entry records from both sides.
  6. I'll be in a similar spot, but it depends on whether there will be a same-day oath ceremony. Once you've had the ceremony you can look for urgent travel appointments at the Seattle Agency if you have proof of travel within 14 days. I've seen people in this thread getting their passport same day within that category.
  7. Adding to what everyone else said - while travelling on Advance Parole they can expect to get pulled into secondary inspection every single time they enter the US. It is usually straightforward, but if they have limited English I'm sure it adds to the stress.
  8. Just saw in the online system that on Jan 3 my interview was scheduled for Feb 16, so there is movement. Just over 2.5 months since filing, so way faster than the 9 months projected at the time.
  9. BTW, I wonder if anyone had an interview today and got asked who is the current Speaker of the House...
  10. Yay, October 18 filer (based on 5 years LPR), just noticed in the online system that the interview has been scheduled (Seattle) for February 15.
