  1. My husband is from Morocco. We have been married and have 3 children together. At first he was kinda homesick because to be here was a culture shock for him. He wanted to work but I wasn't letting him until I had our first child together first. After that, he was determined to work and he was shocked that he made more money weekly than he made in his country in a month. He was excited to save up and send some money to his parents in Morocco. Sure we had our ups and downs yet we managed to work it out together. 7 years of marriage, we have a house, 2 vehicles, 3 little ones and our fun times. He's a hard worker and does well for himself, which I'm happy to see. That he is considered "rich" just because he lives in America (according to his family in Morocco. Ha ha) Nah, he really appreciates living here and be able to find any jobs he can work or leave. Because in Morocco, it was very hard to find one, which sucked. That's my testimony with my Moroccan American husband. He's gonna be a US citizen next week! (Really he could have been a citizen years ago but he wasn't ready.) 😁
  2. Dallas filer N400 filed Jan 28, 2024 Biometric reused Interview May 7, 2024 Oath Ceremony scheduled at Irving, TX May 22, 2024 So grateful for this website! It kept us learning so much for years now! And now my husband is gonna be a US citizen! So exciting!
  3. Here's the update after we sent in the updated information for the RFE and the package was received on May 11. No interview! MSC and field office was Portland. May 23 - card was mailed to me May 20 - we approved your form I-751, Petition to remove conditions on residence May 18 - we ordered your new card April 5 - we sent a RFE March 10, 2021 - we r ready to schedule your form I-751, Petition to remove conditions on residence, for an interview. December 22, 2020 - fingerprints taken. May 4, 2020 - we received your form I-751.
  4. Yes, we submitted i-751 in May 2020. That's what the letter from USCIS said "As it has been several years since you have submitted this petition, we are requesting updated evidence of your relationship in order to assist this adjudication...." I was thinking how funny USCIS wrote "SEVERAL YEARS" when we only sent it in 2020 of May. Again, we are submitting the updated information this month May! LOL
  5. USCIS sent us a letter for RFE since it has been several years since we submitted the petition. They are requesting updated evidence. More paperwork to send them! By the way, we also received the 48 months extension notice. Yay
  6. Thanks everybody for the tips! We had no issue at the airport in France as long as we had the flight itinerary for the trip.
  7. Thanks so much for this information. It is really HELPFUL!!!!!
  8. Im asking for the confirmation from people who had the experience of traveling/airport connection since my husband is really stressed over it. I've read through forums and France visa website yet my husband still doesn't believe me. LOL We are going to visit Morocco again since 2020. Our flight itinerary shows a long layover in France. My husband is worried that if he doesn't have a Schengen or airport transit visa, he will be denied at the flight. SMH I also wanted to stay at the hotel inside the airport until it's time to board the flight to Morocco. My husband said it's not doable with him being LPR. I can't remember how it went last time at the airport but it was during the emergency flight back in Morocco to London in 2020. Anyone care to reassure my husband? I read that LPR do not need an airport transit visa, if I'm not mistaken?
  9. Ahh Ok. Looking through the website, which looks very helpful. Yeah I just read the USCIS website about 48 months extension starting tomorrow. Guess call them tomorrow to schedule an infopass. It has been a long waiting time PATIENTLY.
  10. My husband just realized that his 24 months extension had ended July 2022. (24 months extension from the expiration date on green card) He wants to travel this year but how can he get another extension? Update on his case: December 2020 - Biometrics done March 2021 - schedule the interview January 2022 - 24 months extension notice So how do we get through the bots at the call center? Schedule an infopass??
