  1. It doesn't matter which name order you put on DS160, the print out name on the Visa will based on the name on the passport. In this case, it will be Thi Quynh Anh Nguyen. Anyone with "ABCD " name will having the same problem. If this was an issue, you can request name change when doing AOS, or go go with that name and request a name change when apply for naturalization.
  2. The answer is really simple: if your home country allow dual citizenship and you want get it done with USCIS, N-400 is the way to go. I-751 is a super low priority with USCIS so It will be sitting there like forever.
  3. If you submitted N400 online, you can find all the documents(NOA1, Biometric notice, interview notice..) in your online account.
  4. You're not suppose to submit I864EZ. Please submit another I-864 package.
  5. I-751 is low priority. If citizenship is your goal, you can file for naturalization after getting back from the trip.
  6. -Re-married and AOS: Yes, he can do it anytime after the divorce is final. -Can he get a GC from the 2nd marriage: We don't know.
  7. Unless you want to file a petition to bring your family's members to USA, no one is really care about birth cert. Also, you need to research more about dual citizenship. Your home country is allow dual citizenship.

  9. No, we're not in AP. It's a straight forward approve after a few questions. I'm notice that the blue/pink slip already stick on the top of the files while sitting behind my spouse. Before immigrate to USA, me and my spouse are best friend in high school, then become a couple when go to college in VN. I'm moved to USA with my family. After become US citizens, I'm back to VN to getting married, then CR1 visa, then done with USCIS on January of this year. For this situation, I'm pretty sure it will resolve really quick.
  10. Family tree is pretty common for K1, but i don't see many for CR1/IR1.Actually, The outcome of the interview has been determine before the interview when COs go through the case. It can be COs has found something and want a family tree?. I don't think we need to worry too much since they not ask for any specific documents.
  11. You can contact embassy for more information. It's can be a mistake from embassy. Don't book a flight until you got a clear answer from embassy.
  12. It means all the files are electronic. No more paper package.
  13. I-824 for USCIS to transferred your petition to NVC.
  14. If they ask for family tree, then you just need to wait. Btw, how do you know each other?
  15. There is no affect on AOS. You can amend your 2022 tax after your spouse have SSN.
  16. The judge has no authorized to grant U.S citizenship. There are three legal ways to get U.S citizenship: -Natural born. -Born in a foreign countries with mother/father is a USC. -Naturalization. In this case, the father can get the CRBA for the child then bring the child to the USA for a better future. However, it will be an hassle since the mother is the legal custody of the child right now.
  17. It can be a combo interview, so please go with your spouse just in case. You don't need to call USCIS right now.
  18. One I-864 for you, and another I-864 for join sponsor. However, I-864 only need at the NVC stage later after USCIS approve your petition then transfer it to NVC.
  19. Until the PD is current, NVC will not sending anything
  20. Unfortunately, this is clearly your error. Send in I-824, pay the fee and wait.
  21. For K1, there is no invoice. You can wait until receive the email from the Consulate, then fill out the DS-160, pay the fee, and schedule the interview. You can also email the consulate for the status.
  22. Since you're already divorced, you can file under 5 years rule. However, the big issue is when USCIS run a check and find out about that. In conclusion, you need to have a really good lawyer if you want to apply for citizenship.
  23. With a previous fail K1, and now is CR1, collect as much as evidences as you can.
