    No issue. At the time of check in, show the agent US passport, then Cambodian passport and they will know what to do. Go through TSA with US passport, then enter Cambodia with Cambodian passport.

    Nothing complicated. Mother not USC, but travel to US and give birth on US soil. After birth, the baby get US's birth cert, a US passport, and second passport from the home country.

    To avoid further confusion, please make thing clear: - You move to US in 2014, so that means you getting 2 year GC? -You receive permanent GC in 2017, so that means you file for I-751 and getting 10 year? - You divorce in 2018 and file for N400 in 2019, so what's the basic you apply for (under 3 year or 5 ?) If it's under 3 year, it will denied since you're no longer married. Solution: New N400 and wait.

    One for you, and only one for join sponsor. The household member income will be included on the form for join sponsor(marriage cert and tax return is needed).

    HCMC allow join sponsor, but mostly it was not mentioned on the VN section. For your parents , they technical is just only 1 join sponsor( join sponsor and household member.)

    Seem like this reason is not valid. The main reason is I-751 has been denied. However, USCIS will never denied a petition without sending RFE first. So, I-751 was denied, buy for what reason?

    AOS is not cheap and complicated. Why not get thing simple by flying back, attend the interview.

    The local post office will call, or hand delivery to you. I know you very exited and worry, but don't get too stress about these minor things and more focus on the interview.

    Yes, it correct. With HCM embassy, you have to wait until they reach out to you with PKT3. If you want one step ahead, send an inquiry to them.

    The name on GC is correct since it based on name order of the passport. Anyone from VN with a long name like that will having same issue. Just go to SSN office and changed it like the GC, then correct the name order when eligible for N-400.

    Yes, it completely normal since it's has been only a month.

    New N-400 is the way to go. While waiting, practice more with communication and understand English. The N400 is not just answer civic questions then pass.

    Nothing wrong with the name since it was based on the passport. It really common with Vietnamese people and nothing to worry about it. You can change it to the correct order when apply for naturalization.

    @Crazy Cat: Can you edit the headline to same mother but different father. It's just a typo.

    Just helping my wife submitted two I-130 for sister/half-sister. The first case was easy and solid since it was the same mother and father. However, the second case is little bit complicated: mother is the same, but father is different. A side note: all the parents(all 3) are passed away long time ago. For the second case, beside the birth cert that showing the same mother, what's else do we need to submit to prove the relationship?

    In Vietnam culture, engagement party or " Dinh Hon" is not married. The party is simple that family on both side have a small chats, introduce, and agree for their son/daughter can go further with the relationship.

    N400 online is fast and more convenient than paper filling. You can add extra documents after filling if you file online, but not with paper filling.
