So I guess we'll be making our way to our local SSA office next week. With regards to proof of address, when I asked my husband to put me on some of the utility bills, he stated that the utility companies would want my SSN and only one person could be on the bill. It appears opening a bank account and getting a driving license is going to be a bit difficult.

This is just to say, there's some movement with getting IL's out from London embassy. Someone I know who is being sponsored by her US Citizen son(visa category IR-5) who got DQ'd on the 22nd of April got her IL last week Friday.

He's ok now,he's only now due to have an outpatient procedure requiring a night in hospital. He was in hospital for 7 nights with various tests, treatments and procedures being done. I'm OK now, not so when I got the message of hospitalisation! We provided boarding passes for all trips I took to the US and within the US together, letters/emails,communications from start of knowing each other up until the last date I-130 package was mailed.(we're a large age gap couple) so didn't want any doubts! I being younger than him. As you have lived together, get leases, financial info &bills showing you lived together and any birth certificates if you have children together. The one vaccine I'm aware of that the UK doesn't do is the Varicella, but it's offered at your medical. Best of luck.

@Melancholic Mage @Melancholic Mage I've just come from visiting my husband last week as a last minute visit-he was rushed to hospital on the 1st of June. The officer didn't ask any questions other than why I was there and I just said to see my husband. No further questioning. Like advised, just have your proof of residence, employment etc in the UK when you do visit. We handed in all our relationship evidence with the I-130 package. I suspect you'll be asked to send this in by the Interviewing officer when you go for your interview.

@M S Khan Sounds like it's more for diligence. I am yet to go to the interview, but we provided our chats over the years, boarding passes, pictures and relationship history etc. You should be OK after that you've now provided. All the best 👍🏾.

@M S Khan How long have you been married? You say your wife currently lives in London, was she living elsewhere before? Did you not provide things like pictures, boarding passes etc with the initial package? Just asking incase those are things they need to establish bonafide marriage. Hopefully more knowledgeable people with experience will chime in.

Hi guys, I'm the anomaly that got my IL on a bank holiday. I was quite surprised, but a good surprise. Not sure if there're any interview dates for June cause I was given a date end of next month. Hopefully those of you still waiting will get to hear something tomorrow or within the next week.

Like you,I too thought I'd be getting a date end of June or at least early July. Guess there's no predictable pattern of allocating interview dates. It'll give me more time to work and save a bit more money.

It was quick and easy. Few questions from the doctor about medical history, physical examination, weight and height, plus blood sample. Vaccines seen by nurse, signed off and the xray. In and out in 1hr 20 mins

I've just completed my medical today. So end of July still leaves enough time for visa validity

Hi Nat Murph It's on the 31st of July. I'd been hoping for an earlier date, but guess that works for me.

Hi all, I hope this makes sense and I can get some advice. Our I-130 was approved on 01/01/24 and we got the notice in the mail. Upon checking USCIS ,it states that on the 01/04/24 case was reopened and resumed work on our case. A RFE was sent, but as of time of writing this,we haven't received anything in the mail. Should we be concerned that the initial approval was a mistake or just wait to see if we do get an RFE in the mail? Is this normal for them to request evidence after approving a petition?
