James and I met through mutual friends sometime in 2010. He had recently moved back to England after attending grad school in the U.S. James came to visit in 2012, but things didn't become officially romantic until I went to visit London in early 2014. Things have been amazing ever since and we enjoyed adventure-filled visits about once every 3 months. While in Scotland during November 2016, James proposed and we were married on February 9, 2017. Now we're focused on getting this paperwork taken care of so we can begin living our lives together under the same roof!
