I think the authors of the study were very clear about the sources of their data.  Are you saying Covid19 is different than other viruses?  You can certainly wear a mask if you wish, but why do you wish to push this type of view on others that have other beliefs of the efficacy of masks?  I tend to think masks can help a little when one is sick by providing some pressure drop in the breath exhaled and capturing some of the nastiness that may come out, but masks offer very little protection for those trying to keep from catching anything, and may in fact be worse (how many people use a single use surgical mask only once).

Whatever, the point is the science with data covering many different viruses show little difference with mask mandates.

It is amazing that so many people were branded negatively for simply asking the question.  We had our own microcosm of that here in CEHST.  Why are most on the Left so trusting in the bureaucrats from DC that seem to have no idea how real people think.  Personally I think Trump had a good idea related to spreading the Federal Departments around the country and getting them out of the DC/Maryland/Virginia elite bubble.

I'm trying to remember what recently happened recently to the SW of MD that might cause particulates in the atmosphere.

    Was it a laptop?  No.
    Was it a balloon?  No.
    Was it a UFO?  No.

I must have my head in the clouds to not be able to remember it...

Unless you aren't aware of the US Constitution, in which case you are forgiven.  Not all foreigners know of this wonderful document.

The problem is, studies back in 2015 debunked the efficacy of masks, especially cloth masks, against airborne, aerosolized viruses.  And not just in this country.

If you doubt my words, visit anywhere in the winter when temps are below 0° and people are walking around outside wearing ANY sort of mask.  The visual evidence will be very clear, I assure you.

There is NO mask in the world, minus a vacuum mask, that will stop the spread of any sort of exhaled vapor, let alone the viruses that are on a magnitude of 100,000 times smaller.

Upgrading a terminal is NOT "building a good airport".  As airports go, I'd rate LGA in the bottom 30%.

ATL is what a great airport should be modeled after.

Not surprised at all.  But (I hope) perhaps PV will take a turn for the worse as JO continues to seek and publish the truth elsewhere like others of his ilk.

Happened last year.  Think we already had a thread about it, but maybe not; may have seen it on another forum.  IIRC, he hung himself as well as shot himself in the chest with a shotgun.

Notice the difference in the details... in the story in the OP, someone found MM "sitting at the base of a tree".  In the story below, from June of last year, he was found hanging from said tree.  And for those not in the know, it's exceptionally difficult to shoot oneself in the chest with a normal shotgun.  And impossible to shoot oneself, while hanging, then cause your shotgun to go missing.  Just sayin'...

Absolutely.  Now there are those that will buy a performance EV for the fun, just like those that would buy an impractical Lambo, Porsche, or Bugatti, but for the everyday purchaser, the business case has to be there.
