    NVC has to receive the documents first and generate your MNL case number.
    YOu can call and get that number before receiving the hard copy int he mail from them(this will come after it has been sent to the Manila embassy).
    Once you have the case number you can then set up medical and the interview. The medical generally takes 2 days to complete. Then they prefer 1-2 weeks afterward you do the interview. This allows time for the medical to process and forward the results to the embassy.

    Agreed with Pitaya.
    Just check the form is correct (probably just was a typo but valid non the less).
    We had our NOA2 in 48 days; but you can never estimate your own approval time on anyone else's, as everyone's case is unique.
    Also, just remember later on after the NOA2/NVC phase, unless you'll be accompanying your fiance to the interview, you will need to FedEx original documents and such for the I-134 portion.
    I would just go and enjoy Cebu and time with your SO and not worry too much right now about the wait time.
    (Have you gone swimming with the whale sharks? Was quite amazing when I did it years back)

    I recently married a Filipino in the Philippines and now back in the us and trying to figure out what legal documents I need to change in regards to taxes, social security, Insurance. Anyone have an idea?
