Yes, you are one of those very few exceptionally lucky Baltimore applicants. An outlier. Wish we had the same luck! But, alas, Baltimore is extremely backlogged, it's one of the slowest in the entire country.
I did get an rfe but it didn’t seem to slow anything down, my EAD took ages but the interview come quick, my online status never changed

Hello, congratulations! Good luck with your interview! We lived in NoVa for quite a while, still miss it lol. Now we are in a Maryland side of the DC area. So our office now is Baltimore, which is slower than Fairfax office We are July 2017 filers, stuck on "Fees Received".
BTW, USCIS Fairfax location is actually called Virginia - Washington Field Office and serves DC+Northern Virginia (mostly).
I was a July 2017 Baltimore AOS, had my interview Jan 30th, GC received a week later, approved on the spot, I thought Baltimore office was fast

I think someone made the ultimate human error of forgetting it is no longer 2017.
Stinks for you because their error is now your headache to get 2017 corrected to 2018
12 minutes ago, piff said:Approval - it’s no brainer. Mine started that way, some people’s AOS applications are pending for for than 3-5 years, once they are approved it would be silly to be eligible for a citizenship. Want to believe it or not, you will need to replace the green card. Conditional one expires in 2 years once approved
So just off the phone with tier 2
my GC is correct, no need to change it, it starts from my AOS PD which is July 3rd.
in 15 months I can apply for my 10 year
History on me, been in America on work visas for 7 years so was adjusting from a work visa

Our interview is coming up Feb 21st! We are excited and of course nervous as well. We will let you know how it goes
It felt like a general chat, like the IO cared and was actually human to listen to our story.
Once she she started talking me and my wife relaxed, she loved my engagement and our dog

It's all a waiting game.
It could be as simple as someone being out with the Flu that is reviewing your case to a check box needing to be checked.
You will be okay! It really is just a waiting game!
Good Luck!! Its so hard to not over analyze every step.
Exactly, just stay patient and all good will come of it
Whens your interview AshMarty

Cool,
Yes. I've looked around on here and apart from a few initial scare stories from posters, they always end up getting their cards, so I will dial down the worry and just wait!
After going through the temporary work visa process, it all depends on the person interviewing.
Youll be fine, just the usual slow process

Cool,
I appreciate each case, and each IO, is different. I had read plenty of people not getting verbal approval on the day, with many getting their decisions soon after. I will just have to wait it out I suppose and see if they do indeed want anything else. Ultimately I'm not worried as we are happily married and I can 'prove' that with the usual paperwork as much as anyone. I'll just be frustrated that she didn't ask for any of it on the day and we had it all there with us.
Thanks for the replies anyway
It shocked me, I was expecting the 120 day we’ll make a decision letter
If there’s one thing iv learnt from this process that there’s nothing to worry about it’s just a waiting game with no apparent system in place

Congrats!
Had they changed your on line status? I just checked today and mine has been changed to "Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed" which i am disappointed about because I'm thinking, why bother updating with that status if you're about to approve me?
Just curious if they did that with you as I'm seeking some comfort lol
Hey, my case was verbally approved Wednesday, and I woke up Thursday to a text saying my status as changed
My online status say New Card is Being Produced, I have from others that there status online as changed twice in a day, or twice in 2 days

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I’m so nervous even waiting for an interview date to be scheduled, it sounds like it was a smooth process for you guys. Congrats!
I was verbally approved yesterday, and then last night it changed to card being produced.
The interview process was just like a general chat, we didn’t do any practice interviews we just went in open minded and all was good

Folks,
My wife and I had our interview Tuesday 01/30 at the Baltimore field office. Our interview was scheduled for 4pm but we didn't see the field officer until 5pm. After a relatively short interview we were given the 120 day decision letter with no verbal decision. Confused as I sat there i asked if she was going to give us a verbal decision, she goes "i have no reason to deny you". Fast forward, last night my wife received "card is being produced" email and text notifications. YAYY!
I have provided a quick run down of the interview questions and procedure below. Not the best so please feel free to asked any questions that would be helpful to you.
We were sworn in, asked for ID's and my wife standard questions from the I485 form, she then asked her about me(Full name, DOB, where i was born, profession. etc.), went through standard YES/NO questions and that was it. Turned to me, asked to confirmed name, DOB and address.
She asked about supporting/additional documents. We gave her Bank statements, credit cards, pictures, wedding guest list and Insurance documents(Health, Dental, Vision and Auto). She look through the pictures asked a few questions and gave them back. Asking if we would like to give her a few for our file. she said it wasn't mandatory so we took all back.
We gave her the I693 last minute after she forgot to ask for it.

12/26/2017 - Received Request For Applicant To Appear For Interview
01/30/2018 - Interview
01/31/2018 - Online Notification Approval "New Card is Being Produced"
Congrats, I had my interview yesterday, and woke up today to see New Card is Being Produced, again a verbal approval in Baltimore

nice - you will have the card within 7-10 days. hopefully you won't have any mistakes on it like we did and we're renewing now
I’m still amazed that I was approved yesterday, I was expecting the 120 day decision letter
Also now that the 485 was approved, should the i130 that my usc wife filled in been approved, there’s been no change on that

My online status has changed to New Card Being Produced for the i485, so now it’s a waiting game for the GC to come

Hey guys
had my interview today, was verbally approved at the end of the interview. The IO said her computer was down so will put it through tomorrow, was not given the 120 day decision letter.
It felt more like a chat rather than an interview, Interview was scheduled for 2pm, we was called in around 230 and was out by 250.
we was sworn in, and ask for Driving Licenses and Passports for both of us.
The IO asked my wife the USC, our address, my full name and date of birth.
She then asked me the same about my wife.
She asked If we had any more evidence to give
- mortgage letter
- car insurance shows both or names
- blank check from joint account
- a 2016 and a December 2017 joint bank statement
- our joint phone bill
she kept all the above but also I took our joint credit cards which show the same number
we still live with the in laws which we explained cos we were saving money and she totally understood.
Then we we spoke about how we met, when, who proposed, how proposed, where proposed, what’s our future plans.
also asked if my wife had met my parents in UK, she hasn’t except by Skype, due to my mom can’t fly and I can’t leave the country, we explained that we plan on going home in the summer.
The IO went through a scrapbook I’d done, and our photos, she loved the photos of our dog and asked for 5/6 for our folder.
Went through some of the Yes/No questions, she was laughing at some of them and what she had to ask.
After that she said I am approving you today, and she will put it through either tonight or tomorrow.
I am patiently waiting for the text/ email update from USCIS
I will answer any questions if you have them
