Is it really Sunday?! Jeeze! Where did the weekend go?! At least I'm off tomorrow too.
Just dropping in to say hi!

I wake up every morning to both my cats pawing my stomach or head butting me! This morning I woke up to them jumping on my chest. I fell asleep on the couch last night watching a movie and this morning the cats were chasing eachother and one jump from the floor right on my chest!
So good morning! I'm sooooo tired! I had a really really rough week! My bank got robbed on Thursday, I had way to much stuff to do because my manager was off and I had to take care of her stuff too, it's raining, and all I want to do is go back to sleep, but I know it's not going to happen.
**I just realized I've know my husband for 6 years today! That's crazy!**
Anyway, hope y'all have a good day!
Finally it's Saturday! Too bad I have to work! The preschool is having a Halloween carnival today...Hope you enjoy the carnival!

hopefully this helps!
We did the whole magic jack thing, but someone dropped it on the floor and it broke. So we just use msn or skype. We also have a code for calling. I got the international calling plan through T-mobile and if his family needs to talk to him ASAP, they call my cell let it ring twice and I call them back. Let me tell you I find the International calling plan quite helpful because we also have friends in other countries and I doesn't cut you off 5 minutes short of the time you are supposed to have. Anyway, good luck on the search!Hi,
Is there a specific name to the TMobile international calling plan? Whenever I ask TMobile customer service, they always say they don't have international plans! I would love a good international calling plan on my cell phone.
Thanks for any info!

This is what I found. I guess if you enroll there are discounted rates for calling and SMS however, if not enrolled in the discounted plan its 1.99 per minute (outrageous!!!).
Thanks. I appreciate it. .61 is still high. Much higher than the calling card system I use, and him calling here with the cards for street phone and home phone there. Thanks for looking it up though. I appreicate it.

These are all great comments! I have really mixed feelings about sending money to Adil's family sometimes only because one of my SILs and my BIL live with my MIL and another of my SILs lives with her husband right down the street, but the family is pretty well off. But from what I mostly hear, my BIL doesn't really contribute much and is always out or asking for money. In fact, when I went to Morocco in May, he's the one who asked for a lot of material objects where my SILs only asked for me. (sweet huh?) So I guess since Adil is the only "real" man of the house now, it's also his obligation and therefore I approve. Thankfully we haven't had to send anything in a while though. it's been tough with a new business in this economy!
Thanks for commenting everyone!

I've been wondering for some time now what people think about their spouse sending to their ME/NA families. I understand some situations, but now with the economy the way it is here in the USA, is it ok to send money you may or may not have to send? Anyway, please feel free to comment! Thanks for your opinion!
(Hopefully I did this poll correctly!)

Nice to see things haven't changed one bit since I stopped coming on here everyday!
How about you google "magic jack"? How did my immigrant husband navigate his way to the store, ask questions, buy a magic jack and send it to Egypt all without anyone's help and you can't even google it?On top of it all, no one gets as much as a thank you from you once you've gotten your answers.
OH and before you say anything about the state of my hormones...they're ship shape. I'm a younger woman haven't gone through the change yet.
Can someone do a recap of the MagicJack with me again? I read it a while back, but making sure I understand it completely before I buy it. Im thinking of sending one to my fiance in the next week or so. Someone told me that when I get the majicjack to set it up with a U.S. local phone number. 1. Can I choose the number myself? And so when I send it to him he can call me by just dialing (example) 318-555-5555 and thats it???? It is that simple? Im thinking ahead of time, of him being approved and giving it to his family so they can call him anytime. So if they can call him here in the U.S., and the call a cell number,.... there are NO fees that his family would pay by calling a cell number? Just want to make sure.. know we been over this before but I swear I have the memory of a gnat! No, wasnt going to say anything about your hormones actually... Just pretty much thinking you were just a b_t_h that couldnt control yourself. But thats ok... I understand people like you. No other explanation from yourself needed. You pretty much explain yourself. ta ta!

Hello everyone!
I just thought I'd drop in and see how everyone is doing! Hello to all of you I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet!
I was in Morocco for a few weeks in May for my Sister-in-laws wedding. It was a blast, granted I could have gone without the 8 hours of wedding party with only women in the room, but it was still great seeing all of the family together in one building. My husband was so jealous because he didn't get to go, but his family actually asked for me to come in his place! So anyway, my mother-in-law flew back to Philly with me for a visit and then we all went to Florida to visit my sister-in-law and her new hubby. Had a great time with them in Florida.
Since my mother-in-law went back to Morocco, I was in Boston with my husbands cousin for a few days during Ramadan, been working way to many hours, and working on going back to school. This time I actually know what I want to go for! I'm going for International Studies with a focus in international law so I can work for the USCIS! Go figure! Speaking of school, Adil has decided to go back to school again. This time he is going for his CPA. SO now he's going to have like 5 degrees. We still have the restaurant, but we never get up there anymore.
And he decided that he eventually wants to work for the US Government, so we are now filing for his Citizenship. More paperwork and $$$$!!!!!!!
So that's pretty much what's been going on.
How is everyone? I have a lot of catching up to do!
Hope to be on a little more.
Take care!
Janine

Hello everyone!
Been awhile since I have had to do any filing with USCIS so I am a little behind on the new standards. When I filed previously for my hubby i had everything butterfly clipped with the photos and check in 2 seperate little baggies. I think I had put it all in a manilla envelope with the app number and his name on it, and then into the USPS envelope. Does anyone else have anything to add about packing the N-400? Does this sound ok? What should I change? Oh yeah, and if I send this USPS with PoD, that's not considered the express/courier address is it? Maybe I'm just confusing myself more, but I just want to get this right. Thanks for your help and imput.

Did anyone get an actual poll for this question that might be more accurate?
Anyway, Adil is 34. I am 24.

Hello to everyone!
Again... been way too damn long since I've been on here. Wanted to update my timeline and see what's been going on in the world.
I'm heading to Morocco in May for two weeks to visit the in-laws, this time without my husband. His sister just got married and begged me to come for her 2nd wedding party. Her husband is a Moroccan/US citizen from Orlando and he's flying a few days before me so I will have a translator while I am there. Then she will be flying back to America to live here on May 17th! I am so excited because my mother-in-law is flying back with me so I get to spend 2 months with her!
Anyway, for those of you who don't know, my husband opened his restrauant last fall and with the economy the way it is it's been rough. But since the weather is getting nice and there is no more snow business is slamming! This is one of the reasons he's not going with me. We are also looking around for a house to buy in the Philadelphia area so that's been a lot of fun.
We just recieved a letter from the USCIS informing Adil that his new card should be arriving withing the next 60 days! We thought it was going to be much longer because they just transfer the petition to CA 2 weeks ago. Guess that was a good thing for us and a great birthday present for Adil
Well I hope all is well with everyone! Take care and I hope I will be able to stop by again soon.

Hey! I'm Janine. I was on a lot back in 06-07 during my husbands AOS. We met while he was here for his master program so we really only had to file the AOS when we got married. We are now in the process of removing conditions. I am not on here a lot because of work, but I am trying to pop in as often as possible. VJ has made me want to become an immigration lawyer so I can try to make this process better and easier for people to be with their loved ones!
Take care!

Good evening everyone!
I have been on bedrest these past to days. I have a bulged disk in my lower back and so I am out of work this week. It really stinks, but it's nice not to have to work! I go back to the doctor tomorrow to see if I will be able to go to work on Friday. I am hoping so because I am feeling a lot better and I am able to walk around more. Anyways, I thought I would drop in before I watch the season premier of NCIS which I missed last night. I hope you are all well and have a good evening!
P.S- I forgot to mention that my mother-in-law got her new visa to come visit us today! She thinks she will be flying in next week!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited and I want to thank all of you for helping and supporting us these past 5 years! Hope everyone is well and good luck on your journey!
