  1. My bank wouldn't provide a letter, either, and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I provided statements, and they seemed to be enough.
  2. Right now, 2021 is the most recent tax return or transcript. Eventually, you will need your 2022 transcript when you adjust status.
  3. You asked if not including tax returns or transcripts will be a problem. Most likely, it will. If you're relying on "maybes", you may well find yourself dealing with an RFE, a delayed approval, and possibly a denial. It's always better to submit the evidence than to not submit it.
  4. It could be approved, then, once the police report is obtained. It's normal for it to go into AP while they're waiting for something necessary like that.
  5. Oh! I would have panicked, too! I'm so happy you got your answer! 😊
  6. If you saw a December 17 notification on the 16th, it could be a time zone difference. I'm just guessing. Aside from that, there's nothing unusual. You just do what the notification says and wait for the letter with your appointment. You wouldn't expect to receive it the day it was sent, so I'm a little perplexed by your question. You should get it soon and, if you don't by January 16th, follow the directions in the notification.
  7. My husband was approved for ACA shortly after we married, and long before he had his green card. He only needed his I-94. Contact them and find out what you're eligible for. https://www.healthcare.gov/ 1-800-318-2596
  8. This is exactly what we did. I've owned my house for many years before I met my husband and the mortgage was paid off long ago. We included the insurance declarations page with his name on it and a note to explain. We're still awaiting approval, so I can't tell how well it worked out, but we did the same thing with AOS and had no problem.
