  1. Neither is fast. Both processes will take at least two years from start to finish. For high fraud countries/red flags, spousal process may be better. If you've been persisting in referring to fiance as "wife," your K-1 could well be denied.
  2. If married, you’re not eligible for that visa. You both have lots and lots of reading to do.
  3. It is just one of many well/known disadvantages of doing a K-1 instead of CR-1. You’ll just have to wait.
  4. You seem quite confused about the process. Best bet is for you both to do as much reading as possible and educate yourselves. The US citizen really needs to be part of this discussion.
  5. People in certain countries leave behind property, jobs, and young children every day to overstay/adjust on B visas. The consulates know all the tricks and the adjudication of tourist visa applications is data-driven.
  6. Not sure what your deal is with this. The OP says she cannot get the bank to write a letter with specific content, and asks “is that bad”? It is NOT bad, because it is NOT necessary.
  7. Oh boy…. To the OP: The BEST evidence you can provide as ability to support an immigrant (whether the I-134 now, or the I-864 6 months from now) is actual evidence of current income, which is W-2. Bank letters are fine, but they are secondary to demonstrating income. Mike-E-ing outta here.
  8. How that works is that you’ve been working illegally and not getting caught. Between that and your plan to abuse your B visa privileges, you’re tempting fate.
  9. Thanks so much, will do! He’s coming to visit us this week, so I’ll find out more info 😊.
  10. You could be in administrative processing for quite awhile. There is no way of knowing.
  11. What do you mean you’ll get a B-2 visa if he needs to do an interview in the US?
  12. Please check your info and be very deliberate about your questions. Do you mean K-1/K-2??
  13. Why not just get the proper visa for visiting? It sounds like you’re doing something sketchy here, which could cost you your visa.
  14. No, because she adjusted on a B visa. The assumption is that her family will do the same. She was rightly denied, IMHO.
  15. I’m sure they assume that she’ll ‘suddenly’ decide to stay and adjust status. Just have your wife petition her properly when eligible.
  16. Correct, lying to CBP is NOT an option. Your entire plan is FRAUD. Please reconsider ruining your future this way.
  17. The word you’re thinking of is “where.” The beneficiary of the petition you filed, who is seeking a visa, will be interviews at an overseas consulate. Sounds like you should do some reading to familiarize yourself with the basic immigration process.
